Great colours, great features

freeeeefalastiniii July 12, 2025

I bought this 2 years ago, the best headphones i've ever used. The most comfortable, durable and reliable headphones i've used and I have used many during my time. I cannot recommend this product enough and ensure that you will not regret your decision choosing JBL. I wear these headphones everywhere from in the office to going to the gym and have no complaints. However, the only problem is they do tend to make my ears go red.

Excellent noise cancelling, great app features!

Duti28 April 27, 2021

The JBL Live 660NC unboxing caused me a good first impression from the beginning. I've been happy since the day I've received it. It was easy to connect to your devices (up to 2 at the same time), you get the sound notification on every interaction you do with the headphone when turning on, adjusting the volumes, connecting, and disconnecting to Bluetooth. It's highly recommended you download "My JBL Headphones" so it can support you with extra features such as setting up your Google Assistant or Alexa. Benefits of installing the app: - See on each of the options what it does which is an advantage as it might be not clear what that functionality does. - You can easily set up the Auto-off fafter15min/30min/1h/2h/3h/4h of inactivity or set it to "never" - Play & Pause automation - music and videos pauses and resumes automatically when you take off the headphones and put them back on. - Voice Assistant - Choose between Google Assistant or Alexa Product help - Containing all tips and FAQ to help you to get to know the headphone a little bit more. And for me, one of the most important check if the firmware is up to date (basically is the software that has all the features, when you update it, it sometimes fix issues and bring new functionalities. ANC (Ambient Sound Control) - 2 odes (Noise Cancelling, Ambient Aware) TalkThru when you need to talk with someone without taking off the headset. When you connect to a laptop via Bluetooth pay attention to select between "JBL Live660NC Stereo" and "JBL Live660NC Hands-free AG-audio" when you see that a sound does not work in one it means that specific audio has been recorded on mono or stereo. For bigheads like me, the pressure on your head can disturb but nothing to causing pain, with a couple of days it will lose a bit and it will continue to be comfortable. I felt they are very lightweight with a good cushion on the ears and it's a great gadget to buy!

Surprisingly good sound and fit

Rikk81 April 25, 2021

Been testing the JBL Tune 660NC for approx. 14 days. Been using them while running and watching video/TV on the phone and Ipad on travel. When running they fit nicely and are stable. Not moving around sliding out of position. This is a huge benefit. They feel light to wear and the sound is great and they work perfectly for this purpose. I been running 3-4 times a week, for ~1 hour each time. Have not charged them since I got them. So the battery capacity is great. When using them while streaming on a mobile unit the active noise cancelling is very good. It takes out the surroundings great. I'm only disappointed the model is not supported by the JBL Audio app, since I also have some earplugs from JBL. And they should have included this model to that app as well. All over. Very happy with this product.

Great headphones at an amazing price.

patrick December 17, 2022

These are an amazing deal. The sound quality and design are nearly as good as the comparable Sony models that I've tried. Being that the Sonys are superior in design and compare in quality to the premium priced Bose models that makes these JBLs a bargain at 1/8th the price at the time of this review. My only criticism is that I would prefer an over-the-ear headphone vs on-the-ear as they provide better wind protection while walking on a breezy day I have never experienced noise cancelling headphones that can effectively cancel out wind noise. I also hate the little blue light that stays lit while the headphones are in use. It's overly bright and gratuitous. A dim amber light would serve the same purpose while not unnecessarily attracting attention.

Just Beautiful

Excel Ebz September 17, 2023

I bought these less than a month ago, they have been amazing, the fact you can change EQ on the app and change genres of sound as well is a well done to JBL for that, they have a very smooth consistency with both Android and IOS; though i'm afraid IOS may have the edge but that just my opinion. All the features are 10/10 with my experience so far, i also bought the Tune Flex as i'm a musician, if i want something hidden and not too elaborate or just to let my ear breathe i just use the Tune Flex the; the feature on there are 10/10 as well for the size all three (ANC, Ambient & Talk thru) all work well. JBL have produced amazing products and they might've just got a loyal customer; definitely going to buy more of their products especially their Premium Audio Products in the near Future.

More than expected, amazing on ear headphones

Midgrey May 31, 2024

I was surprised by the compliance of the noise cancellation function that I didn't expect much because it was on ear headphones, and the sound quality, volume, and Sound space are excellent. And the fit was comfortable without any inconvenience even after long use. I think it's better than my JBL 760NC.

Not durable headphones

Mava May 14, 2023

The sound is good, but I do not recommend it because the quality of the material is not resistant, I have the headphone for 6 months and the plastic parts to adjust the headphone are already broke so you can see the cable parts of it and because the cable its exposed they constantly turn off and do not fir my ears properly anymore. I have been careful with them but they did not make passed the 6 months of use.

Terrible, colossal mess up.

Acrs February 20, 2024

I don't know how you could mess up this horribly. To start off you didn't even design them to protect against the wind whistling so you get these brutal noises while walking around with them. Secondly the ANC is absolutely garbage, all it does is play an off quiet noise in the background and base boost the actual music itself. I think the worst part about these headphones would be that at their max volume they PEAK how do you mess up that horribly! This is the last JBL product I buy. Ever.

Great headphone - while they last

Norths March 6, 2025

I bought these headphones. Great product until they simply stopped working after 2 years and 1 month. Just wouldn't turn on. Terrible value because they didn't last. Mine were in as new condition when they failed. JBL had no interest in a warranty repair or replacement Very disappointing
