Good price for solid wood. Easy to build.

This is already 1000% better than any MDF piece. The drawers slide easy and it's WOOD. My only issue was a couple of blemishes in the wood/paint. Since my home is decorated in farmhouse and I have some distressed pieces of furniture, this didn't bother me enough to return or exchange it. I did change the knobs to match my decor. It's perfect for what I needed and did I mention it's WOOD?

I like the style. It's inexpensive. And I love the fact that it is solid wood. But there are lots of areas of thin paint or areas where you can see the knots showing through the wood, which shows up as yellow through the white paint. I had to have them ship me some replacement parts for it to get a full one thatwas worth keeping.

This was a somewhat easy piece to put together. We used wood glue to seal the edges real good. But there was a crack in the top when it arrived. So watch for that. Very sturdy but could do alot better on the instructions and seperating the correct screws. Says dont use power tools but after a while your hands hurt from trying to screw them in.

I'm only giving 3 stars because some of the wood pieces were significantly scratched even though the package was not at all damaged. It had to have happened before packaging. Also, it is much, much smaller than anticipated, although that could be my fault for not calculating the actual drawer size. Drawers are tiny - short, shallow, and barely come out enough to see what's in the there. I was going to use this for my sheets, but ended up using it for like socks and underwear. The only reason it's not going back is because it took a decent amount of time putting it together and it won't fit in my trunk. With that being said, you get what you pay for. The wood seems to be decent material. This would work well as a child's dresser - with very small clothes.

I bought a user-assembly 3-drawer chest. The drawer do no close properly, and the chest looks just horrible as a result. I will contact Adeptus about this problem, and I expect help, full or partial refund, and cooperation as to the cause so others don't suffer the kind of shock I had when I put the drawers into the complete unit and they would not close properly.

Thought it would be a little easier to put together since it's not the cheapest one available. It's not difficult, just very time consuming. Extremely time consuming. It says it will take an hour to put together. It's probably closer to 3. But seems decent for the price, at the end of the day. Won't last forever but it's real solid wood and that's worth the extra money.

However, unpacking the materials out the box there was nothing protecting the wood from scratching each other. See the photos the outside surface is scratched up!! So sad :( as I dislike purchasing item at full retail for it to be already marked up! This is wrong!

Nice looking at it, solid pine, but the drawers are not wide enough, and so the rollers constantly slip out of their tracks and the drawer falls to the bottom of the cabinet.

I bought this chest for my niece who has moved on her own to a studio apartment. The box was very heavy. She looked at the parts and decided just to leave it in the box because she could NOT assemble it herself. I haven't had time to go and try to help her assemble it. My niece usually likes to assemble things on her own but she definitely did not appreciate the difficulty this chest would bring. She still has it in the box and I am hoping I can go and try to help her assemble it. WE SHOULD HAVE BOUGHT A CHEST THAT WAS ALREADY ASSEMBLED AT OUR LOCAL FURNITURE STORE.
