Jiffy Organic Seed Starting 3" Diameter Biodegradable Peat Pots (100 Pots)

Tip for best use: use a phillips screwdriver to make a hole in the bottom for drainage, then use a box cutter to CAREFULLY cut the bottom with an X thru the hole. At planting time: soak the pots, then carefully: remove the bottom, then gently break a line from the bottom of the rim to the bottom of the pot in four evenly spaced places. Set the pot in the prepared hole, fill in open space, then gently push the rim outward until it breaks loose, and lift the sides of the pot out of the hole. This way the roots don't have dig thru the pot to get to the surrounding soil. My transplants are much happier with this method.

Standard pot. Durable. Some of my seeds failed and I can reuse the pots. I think if you waited for them to biodegrade it would take a while and you'd have a tight root ball.
