Pantry staple with endless uses
This corn meal mix is one of those pantry staples I always like to have on hand. It makes delicious cornbread, but that's just the beginning. I've also used it for corn muffins, hush puppies, cornbread waffles, and as a crispy coating for fried fish or chicken. You can even make cornbread casseroles or bake it into stuffing for the holidays. It has great flavor, is easy to work with, and offers a lot of value for the price.

homemade is better
I like my beans and cornbread but I live alone and I cook for myself and it's an easy meal to cook so I used to buy the boxed prepared cornbread but buying this and making homemade taste like Mom made I use this and other recipes and breadings and it's just plain delicious

THERE is NEVER an Expiration on any SHELF FOOD
THAT is NOT an Expiration date on ANY SHELF FOOD. YOU people need to READ and use GOOGLE to EDUCATE yourselves so you won't show the world THIS. It says right on EVERY description how much it WEIGHS. The package SHOWS YELLOW but Described as WHITE ... NOT ACCURATE - Grandma had a fit because The cornmeal I ordered by the DESCRIPTION was the wrong COLOR!!! Your bad comments about (bugs) crawling out only says you don't know what YOU ARE DOING around food. The larvae are in Everything. You need to FREEZE your pasta and grains for 3 days before you put them on your shelf then they won't HATCH but they are NOT getting into your food. %23profchef

Expired Cornmeal
This was a delivery item but it had expired already. I was stunned Walmart could even keep meal long enough for it to expire. That made me think it had been returned and put right back on the shelf.

I was upset with this because it did not come with my order but was shipped to me by USNpmpMail which ended up costing me over $10 for a small bag of cornmeal. I called and they said they would give me credit for the $5.99 Postage. I can’t tell that was ever done as I am not sure how that is done.
