This is great for cooking. just put a little down and it keeps roll, biscuits and pizza form sticking or burning. I keep mine in a shaker, for easy use.

Quaker yellow corn meal had been a stable in my family for over 60 years or more. I use for so many dishes. A coating for fried fish and green tomatoes, corn bread, and so much more.

I make my own cornbread using this. I also love cornmeal mush for breakfast. Make scrapple which is browned pork sausage and cornmeal mush poured into loaf pan, then refrigerated. Slice %26 fry till browned %26 serve with toast for a great filling meal

Quaker Enriched Yellow Cornmeal is a family staple and has been for years. We love this cornmeal for making cornbread to accomony certain green vegetable dishes, legumes, stews and soups It also serves as the star of our cornbread dressing, and remains a good product to this day.

This is a bit pricey for the amount of basic cornmeal, but I appreciate the resealable container versus the plain 4 or 5 pound bag of meal. I mostly use cornmeal to make my cornbread (delicious but oh so easy and fast to whip up and bake) but I do use my cornbread to make Southern style cornbread sage dressing/stuffing for holiday meals. My dressing recipe is to die for!

I thought it would be a healthier way to make Cornbread, other than using Martha White mix. I was wrong, you have to add wheat flour to it and baking soda etc. to make cornbread. When I did, it didn't taste like real cornbread. It looked great coming out of the oven, though. With Martha White, you do not have to do all the additions to the mix, yet some ingredients in Martha White leave me a little worried health wise.
