We have loved Johnny Harris for years! It is not too spicy nor to sweet. A little bit goes a long way for me. Try it with pulled pork and a Hawaiian bun, perfect! Coat your bake chicken breast for an excellent bbq chicken.
If you have never heard of this BBQ before then, you must try it. They have like 5 or 6 different flavors to choose from. IT'S FANTASTIC
Been using this item since I was a kid growing up in Savannah , GA. eating BBQ at Johnny Harris restaurant. Glad it is still available.
this product is great, tatses great, very good when warmed up,works on all meats/chicken,beef pork, even shrimp
Raised on Johnny Harris BBQ sauce! It's the best!!
this is the best bbq sauce you'll find in a jar. can't wait to try their sister brand with heat, the habenaro and honey.
A personal favorite
I am 65 years old and I grew up in Savannah, GA where this BBQ was made. I will only eat this one. It is the best you can find.
Very, very vinegary. Works well if you like that but you can also mix it with a very sweet BBQ sauce for a balanced sauce.
I love the original Johnny Harris BBQ sauce, however this didn't taste the same as it used to. I bought it for my Brunswick Stew and I usually only needed 1 bottle but the sauce tasted weaker than it used to so I fortunately purchased to bottles and I had to use both to bring the flavor I'm used to tasting up to par. I have used this BBQ sauce for many, many years, at least 40 years so when you use something for that period of time you know exactly how it should taste and smell and it just didn't hit my taste bud's the way it once did, even since last year. It's really disappointing that the recipe has changed, but I kind of expected changes since they closed the restaurant. Nothing stays the same after it's been bought out from the original owner/brand.
