what a lot of people don't know is if you go with a Sharp TV is being manufactured Now by Hisense. so you're going to get the same picture quality that you're getting from JVC most of these companies now are being done by Chinese brands not LG not Samsung which are Korean. so this is a really good TV especially for the price and what you're getting. all other reviews you guys are not technology people or electronic people I have 27 years of this I've been in this game a long time I work for Panasonic.
The picture and sound quality is awesome, i would reccomend this JVC TV to everyone,I ♥️ it!!
Box was pretty beat up when I got it at the store. Love the 58in screen for the price. Is it the best picture? Time will tell. Still playing with the settings trying to get the best picture. Refresh rate is ok. Only downfall is that, there is no app store, and you can't get hulu on the TV. But I have my PS4 hooked up to it anyways for the hulu app. The sound quality is a bit of a problem too. Not that great which is surprising for JVC. The presets for music and what not kinda suck. Trying to still play with the settings for the sound, might have to hook it up to my soundbar. Overall. You get what you pay for. Seems a bit cheap, because JVC was always a top notch brand. Maybe I got a bad TV. Not sure. Still playing around with it. But so far so good I guess. Just expected a bit more.
I read the other reviews and I was nervous I would be returning it once it came but the tv is ok it doesn't have a bad picture like some of the comments say so far so good, good tv for a great price
Nice purchase for the cost. Large picture, but sound is poor. U will need a surround sound system to improve the sound.
The frame at the top of my tv was broke but other then that the tv works good
The tv was a good price but after 4 months the tv started acting up. One day I turned it on and it just showed the JVC logo and cut off. It took months to get in contact with JVC and then they sent a pre paid postage and told us we had to ship it back to them. I took the loss and won't ever buy a JVC product again.
Absolutely terrible. The screen randomly blacks out with the sound still playing. You have to constantly turn the TV on and off. The sound quality is horrible.
this tv is misleading, it's not a smart TV, they give you Netflix , but you will not have anything else (HBO go, Hulu, etc), you need to have a cable service to view anything.
I only had my new TV 6 months when it quit working and have been fighting with the manufacture warranty for JVC almost 5 months and it is still not resolved. This has been a horrible experience and I do not recommend their products.
