It's fabulous! Works really well. I love that the pot/bowl is ACTUALLY CAST IRON! We can now have movie theater popcorn right here at home! We all love it! Every night is movie night! I highly recommend it! Assembly is a breeze. We have not had any problems with it. Looks exactly like the picture. * DON'T FORGET YOUR BUTTER! 😁
Bought this for my son after another mom suggested this as snacking option for her children and thought it a great idea to give it a try. When it arrived he wanted to make popcorn right away, and we have been using it every day since getting it. He loves it and now has an endless stream of popcorn coming his way. He is 7 eats large bowls of stove popped popcorn and we find that refilling the container four times seems to satiate his snacking need. It's fun for him plus you can see the popcorn pop out of the popper which is cool and gives your place a fun carnival snacking station too.
It's a beauty in the kitchen, not just pleasing to look at, but also produced great tasting popcorns. Kids love the popping sound as they watched the kernels turning into popcorns. It was exciting and fun for the whole family to enjoy the entire process made-from-scratch popcorns, unless the store-bought paper bags. Set up was really easy; just needed the ingredients to get started.
It is so fun to have this classic home-theater style popcorn machine. It is a perfect size for a family party, easy to use though it do take time to figure out how to assemble it. It arrived at very good package, the machine is well protected by the package. Really cute and fun to have it.
I love this little machine for every day. The kids can easily make popcorn on their own and it tastes great! Only gripe is the baskets it's single serve.
This item was only used twice and it cracks straight down in the center. It's a little bit flimsy but easy to use, made of cheap plastic. Beautiful to sit as a display. I prefer to buy a more expensive brand to get my money's worth. Easy to assemble be careful not to cut fingers on the attachment pieces. Must heat for 10-20 minutes ahead of time Doesn't pop all kernel a lot was left in the metal bucket Buy at your own risk and read All instructions before using! Very important.
Plugged the unit in and it immediately tripped the 20 amp breaker. Tried an outlet with only 2 receptacles on the breaker and it again tripped, There are two on/off switches on the unit, one for the light and one for the heater. The light comes on fine but when the heater is turned on it immediately trips.
We bought this for a party that was cancelled and when I tried to return the item in its unopened box, the seller claimed the return policy required a return within 30 days, not the 90 days listed on the Walmart website (I was requesting the return 60 days after I received). Wouldn't be a big deal if I hadn't found out after I bought it that my sister-in-law also owns this machine and the plastic parts began falling off after only a few months of light use. I will donate this as I'm apparently stuck with it, but don't be a sucker like me.
After of 2 months use, the machine is now deteriorated. Sometimes, it will pop the kernel as normal but most of the time now, it won't. I checked the chord and outlet connection and it produced heat but not enough to the zone that makes the kernel pop. The kernels are burnt in the chamber but not popping out. The machine has been wiped clean with damp paper towel only and dry with paper towel only after each use. How do I return for this defect? or exchange to a new one?
Light bulb was broken when I opened the package. Was not a deal breaker. But then Teflon coating on kettle started flaking off into the popcorn. Used once a day since receiving on 10/26. Started return and packaged back up 11/11. I would say roughly 2 weeks use (life span of product) is definitely unsatisfactory. On a positive note it was incredibly easy to return with the Walmart app! Thanks Walmart!!
