This gadget does a great job catching all those little bugs the kids and pets let in! You can set it to come on only in low light so it's not constantly running. Either way it runs quietly.
This is the second one I've bought in 3 years. I really enjoy the product but it's hard to clean… my old one is very dusty and i can't take it apart so the fan doesn't work well anymore. I have a home garden in my house tho and it worked WONDERS for the gnats.
Thanks to a friend giving me a bag of fruit infested with fruit flies PLUS me not noticing an open bedroom window and screen, my 1-bedroom apartment was overrun with pests. It was so bad I couldn't be in my kitchen without getting swarmed. I bought this at Walmart and I couldn't recommend it more. It took only one night to significantly reduce the number of bugs and two nights to virtually wipe them out. I ran it two more nights just to make sure and the fourth night only had three gnats stuck to the sticky pad and I'm not seeing any bugs at all. This is exceptionally easy to use and clean up is simple. You don't even need to touch the used sticky pad if you prefer not to. Kids can use it as well. My 4-year old granddaughters thought it was cool helping grandpa get rid of his bugs … lol. The LED light at the top isn't distracting at night and the fan that sucks the bugs inside the trap is whisper quiet. It's very lightweight and portable to any room you need it in as long as there's an outlet to plug it into. Finally, there's an Automatic setting that turns it on when the lights are off and off as soon as the lights go on. The Manual setting keeps in on no matter what.
Sitting at my computer, a tiny flying object would fly across my screen and disappear., then return to do it over again. Every. Single. Day. I swatted, sprayed (as I choked to death) and ignored (not possible). How long could a bug live? A LONG time. It was either immortal or had a child who took over the tradition. Finally I bought Katchy and plugged it in. While it didn't get rid of Fred (yes, I named it) immediately, it DID catch a few mosquitoes and other flying creatures (who knew?). Then, one day I realized Fred had disappeared! Katchy works and now the sticky disc is full after only a week. Great product, lightweight, bright light, no sound when working, great price. Highly recommend.
Product works as advertised
This is an effective little workhorse and is very quiet as it does its job. I
It is a wonderful idea, this “Katchy bug catcher.” Since my acquisition of your system, the pest environment has changed, I would say that the infestation has not just become bearable, but; there are fewer irritating occurrences in just two weeks, so; I'm confident that in another two weeks, only the Lord knows. Since acquiring your system, I sleep well, and my six to seven miles morning walks, are enthusiastic, crisp, and energetic endeavor. The ‘No Nonsense' paste, that I like to walk at, when my energy levels are up, are; fast, and faster. I am a satisfied user Katchy. Thank You Reggie D.
works almost as advertised. was hoping it sucked them up like a vacuum but was expecting too much. Does work well enough but u still might want to hold on to ur electric tennis racket to help
The suction fan is too weak to suck bugs into the trap. The only thing that catches bugs is the sticky paper bottom. Fly paper is more effective. This device must be plugged in to operate.
It stopped working after only one day of use. It feels cheap.
