my picky birds loved it!
My birds loved it (and they're picky... they've abandoned ALL my feeders before when I put out some thistle/nyjer they voewed as "subpar!"

I buy Nyger seed regularly since my patio area is a bird haven. Walmart has the best price and fastest delivery which not only saves me money but the effort to lug big bags of seed out of the store.

The wild birds, love this food
I have been feeding the wild birds around my home for many years and they absolutely love this seed. Our Golden Finches LOVE This Nyjer Seed!
Yes, nyjer seed is expensive, REALLY expensive! But our golden finches LOVE this stuff! The joy of watching them feed (often a dozen or more are on the feeders with another 6 or so waiting for an opening!) is more than worth the price.

big difference between this and regular thistle
I would give it five stars if it was a little bit cheaper as it's quite expensive. however, penny per penny it's probably a cheaper option because the birds will eat all of it. the regular thistle gets moldy and goldfinches being fussy eaters will not come back if the seed gets moldy. this is now the only kind I buy I just spend the extra money.

Foreign material in the bag
I have used this product before with no issues but this bag had dozens of small (0.5" to 1.5") thin twigs of some sort. I strained the entire bag through a collander and managed to get most of them out
