Very simple to use! This coffee maker is fast and the coffee tasted so fresh and good! It costs about 1/2 the price of the last to perk coffee makers i have had. Very easy to clean and maintain. The hot plate base that heats it is pure genius too. It's also a very good-looking coffee maker. The stainless steel is shiny and gives it a sleek look. Coffee is made very fast.

I prefer a stainless steel percolator, so there are no plastic parts or aluminum tubing. My last percolator lasted 12 years. This new one is the same except the base separates from the carafe when pouring as a safety design feature although not sure of the advantage. Anyway, not a big deal.

product works very well and is very easy to use. just was a little disappointed that there were a couple of plastic parts on this product. the rest is stainless steel but I could have done without the plastic. as we all know there are too many toxins in plastic

My percolator arrived quickly but has a large dent at the spout. I do not think the damage occurred during shipment because the package was secure, no tears or damage to the box, and the percolator was packed extremely well. I think the company selling through Walmart knew the coffee maker was badly dented and shipped it to me anyway. However,. the percolator works well, , it makes up to 12 cups of coffee. I love the clear knob on the lid that allows you to watch the coffee perking. I have always thought perked coffee tastes the best. I am not returning the percolator, since it works fine and the damage is only cosmetic, plus I am battling a terminal health issue and returns are tough for me.

Insofar as perk time and taste...perfect. takes approximately 1 minute per cup to perk. The coffee taste produced is great. But, the coffee is scalding hot and I cant drink for at least a half hour. Now I use a stainless Yeti and I have to keep the top off for that half hour. I always used a drip pot which I was used to just pouring the geounds on the top in the big basket. Im not used to the small basket with the stem. You have to put your finger over the stem when filling and because of the size it can be messy...I do in sink off of the main stem in pot, then put the basket on. What I didnt realize is that you cant get the bottom of the pot wet because of the heat element. Therefore its not an easy clean...no submerging really just rinsing...not a fan but it is what it is. If I had to re do the purchase I think Id go back to drip only for convenience because this is a well made pit that makes good HOT coffee

It is very fast and very hot. I like the hot coffee but I don't know if it's coffee now adays or brewing so fast... it doesn't taste like coffee. I've tried different brands of coffee... it's just not the flavor I was hoping for. Unfortunately, I'll be returning this.

If you're buying a stainless steel percolator to get away from the black plastic in drip coffee makers, don't buy this one! This one has a black plastic seat for the stem in the bottom of the pot. The clear knob on top is also plastic. The Elite Gourmet percolator I previously bought was all stainless steel inside, but also had a clear plastic knob which failed after about a year, so I suppose this one will too.

The unit sometimes makes rich coffee other days even very carefully inserting the perking stem it doesn't perk thoroughly. I previously had a Farberware for years and decided to take a try with this unit. Very,very displeased. Brought the old unit back into the kitchen and put this one back in it's box on a shelf in the garage!

Received an electric shock while turning power switch off. Coffee container does not drain correctly. Coffee grounds float to the top of container while percolating and do not drain efficiently causing grounds to end up in coffee and all over the coffee container.

While I like the perculator, the customer service fails miserably. The booklet says disposable filters are included. After jumping through hoop after hoop (taking and submitting pictures of product, the box, the booklet) and waiting days for responses, they give a response that assumes I must be an imbicile.
