At first, I thought it was too high, it was perfect. the coffee grounds don't get thru. I actually burned my coffee pot dry. This made it thru perfect. i did purchase the expensive blue coffee pot worth every penny!!

Small but works ok.
It could be a bit larger capacity to make 10 cups of coffee. It appears to only hold about 5 table spoons of coffee grind.
