Kidde AA Battery Operated Basic Carbon Monoxide Alarm - 9CO5

What I needed because of multiple gas heaters and quickly approaching cold weather. Products came with batteries which were easy to install. All of the instructions were clear and easy to understand and important as to location of carbon monoxide detectors.

I've been really happy with this carbon monoxide alarm. It was easy to set up, and it gives peace of mind knowing it's there. The battery life has been impressive — it's lasted for months. Simple, dependable, and does exactly what it's supposed to do. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable and reliable CO detector.

Definitely a need for everyone. We have discovered we need a stove!! Everytime oven is on for awhile the alarm goes off. Only the oven--not the burners. We are going stove shopping. So--they really work great!!! Kiddes' alarms are great!!!

As a safety officer, every family needs a carbon monoxide alarm in their home. Small price to pay to keep your family safe. Read instructions for added knowledge and placement. I've relied on Kidde for other home safety products. Satisfied with purchase.

My old one started going off for no reason and it was over 5 yrs old so I got the same brand and have had ZERO issues. They are guaranteed for only about 2 years, but the life was nearly DOUBLE!

I like this so far. My apts put 1 in my hallway by my thermostat. But I dont think thats helpful. i have an electric stove. But a central air and heat. sometimes I think I smell gas in my bdrm. how? I dont know. so I bought this for my bdrm just to ease my mind!

It's a replacement and it's the same exact one. I didn't even have to replace the old mounting plate, just fit right in the old one. The last one worked for 10 years. I trust the brand.

I have used these for years, never had a problem with them. I have gas heating and cooking, won't get caught without them!

This product works very well is not too big. I actually have it sitting on my workbench in my barn/shop because we have a huge propane heater in installed there. Only thing I would say would be better about this product would be if it had the ability to adjust the alarm volume somehow. That said, I would rather have it far too loud, but not loud enough. Will recommend the product. Yes!

box arrived held together by household Scotch tape. the item had dirty fingerprints on it in a long blonde hair hanging out of the battery door. it works.
