Brisling sardines taste very different from regular sardines. The flavor is delicate, very lightly smoked. These are so good you can eat them as is, bones and all. Great source of calcium. Tiny Tots have the best flavor of any sardine I've ever eaten. This brand is more expensive than others, but the price at Walmart is the best in town. My favorite way to eat them is with rice and a little salt. Wonderful.

Tiny Tots are the best

sp01 March 5, 2017

If you like sardines, this is a best choice. The U.S. distributor is miserable in getting this product into stores in Texas. I've been ordering from California because no one in Tx stocks or will order. It's great now that I can order and pickup near my home.

Best Sardines

Diana November 3, 2016

These sardines are the smallest and most tender I have found, besides being very good. They are also stored in extra virgin olive oil, which is a plus.

King Oscar has always produced the best sardines. Some of the competition makes weird canned sardines, which have various standards for definition of what constitutes a sardine. Tiny Tots are simi

High quality brisling sardines.

Jeanne May 31, 2025

These are tiny and cute looking fishies neatly packed in a can. Delicious right out of the can served simply on some saltines or with a spritz of lemon juice and Louisiana hot sauce. Good for those who are new to canned fish as these are not strong tasting, just delicate in flavor and appearance.

Lacking in taste and texture

Dawn June 7, 2026

I purchased these tiny tots sardines anticipating a fabulous product… I eat sardines virtually daily. These were mediocre in taste and poor in texture. I don't know if the fact they arrived hot from travel, or what, but I am unimpressed. Polar sardines are superior in quality for a fraction of the cost. Many other brands also exceed tiny tots. Not two nicely laid layers either. Top layer looks like the picture, not so for bottom layer. I certainly will not purchase these again.

YUK Not like King Oscar at all?

Fay April 28, 2026

I have eaten King Oscar sardines the regular in red pack and Tiny Tots for years loved them both, but recently bought both and both were not small sardines and were absolutely mushy and tasted terrible, Looked up online found out there have been very many complaints about the same issues for both King Oscar sardines products lately.
