[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works great and have not come across anything that it won't slice nicely yet :) I am very happy with the processor so far. The only thing I wish was different is that I thought it would have the chopper as well, but you have to buy that separately.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] my but is that in the manual & online I thought it came with all of the attachments or the slicing discs & It does not. I do not have the dicing disc & I cannot seem to find it for sale anywhere by itself. I would use it more than all the other discs!! The manual says that it is in there, but it is NOT!! When I go to find just the disc it is all the other packages but I do not have it in my package! Not sure if it was just left out or whether it was just not included. That is my complaint!! Love this product otherwise but would think about or thoroughly check out what you are getting!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like my new processor attachment! It slices every veggie you can throw in it, and it grates cheese like a breeze. I love the fact that I can slice an onion in 10 seconds without shedding a single tear. The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I have not found a veggie yet that it juliennes well. It has a julienne blade that, at least for me, just crushes things to a pulp. The slicing blade and the shredding blade work exactly as advertised. If I had it to do over again, I would definitely buy it again, although I would get the food processor with the dicing kit included.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son bought this for me as a surprise. I really do like it for veggies, onions(super!), and other softer items, but for hard cheddar cheese, this attachment fights me like crazy. I have followed the directions to a tee and the entire thing comes loose from the mixer, the cheese gets shredded by the two holes used to pick up the blade, etc. Kind of a pain, but for everything else it works like charm. Nice and sturdily built.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought it a month ago so I've had time to use all the different pieces. it saves me a lot of time slicing potatoes and carrots even onions. the only thing that does not work well is the julienne slicer and anything that is soft like tomatoes. but it does what i need it to so ill keep it.
This processor did not come with the dicer attachment tools which is why I purchased it! very disappointed and upset. you owe me the dicer attachment!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Kitchenaid mixer is the best kitchen invention ever, but the food processor attachment is a big disappointment. I was expecting it to work as spectacularly as the mixer but in my opinion it does not.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have all of the attachments for my KitchenAid. This one is not my favorite. It tends to get food caught in the barrel and some of the food comes out mushy. I find it difficult to use and clean.
I bought this to cut up veggies etc. After a few uses it stopped cutting; the blade gets jammed into a carrot or potato or whatever and you can hear the gears grinding inside the housing. Cheaply made and definitely not what the quality used to be.
I bought the kitchenaid commercial 8 qt mixer less than a month ago. About 3 weeks later, I bought the food processor attachment. It appears the shaft of the food processor will not reach the hub of the mixer to turn it. Plus, the screw in the mixer that is supposed to hold the attachment in is too wide to screw in far enough. Anybody else have this problem?
