KitchenAid Fruit and Vegetable Strainer, White, KSMFVSP

The strainer itself seems to work very well. however the feed tube on the grinder attachment that you connect the strainer onto is very small. therefore larger vegetables such as tomatoes must be cut up into quite small pieces in order to process them.

I don't can a large amount of tomatoes at once, so this is compact and easy to use and does the job very well

You have to "read between the lines" on the description of this strainer. it doesn't just "work with" the food grinder, it REQUIRES it as it ONLY attaches to it. The photo is VERY misleading as the parts NOT included are not greyed out, so since a picture is worth 1000 words I was easily misled.

Cone broke after 1 use. There is a seam in the strainer cone that split after first use. Difficult to clean as well. Very disappointed. Check if you can buy replacement cones before buying.

not compatible with KSMMGA please explain why i would need to buy the cheap plastic one instead of using the metal one ...

Thought I bought the whole thing less the mixer but I was sure wrong

Missing pieces

Was delivered ahead of schedule which was a nice surprise. Was packaged nicely and arrived undamaged. I purchased the Kichen Aid Fruit and Vegetable Strainer to make Raspberry and other fruit Jelly and tomato juice. The strainer is so easy to put together and to take apart for clean up. My tomato juice turned out so nice, just like store bought. I highly recommend the Kitchen Aid Fruit and Vegetable Strainer and the company whom I purchased from through Walmart.com
