Works well and easy to clean.

I have been working out in the garage late at night. with the weather getting warmer, I've had the garage doors opened and mosquitos, gnats and everything else have been finding their way into my garage. I hung this product next to my garage door opener. gradually I saw dead bees, stink bugs, gnats, mosquitos, and other bugs that I do not know what they are. You will not be disappointed, I'm extremely happy I bought this!

It started killing mosquitos and other assorted insects right away. It has been going strong all summer on my shady front porch. I have to clean it off every week because it is so full of dead bugs! The picture is after just 4 days of insect annihilation. Much better than the one I had last year that never killed a bug.

This is large but light weight. It's pretty durable because I dropped it a couple times and I see no damage. I am grossed out by how many bugs this thing gets. Easy to remove and discard dead bugs with out touching them. You do have to brush off the bugs from off the light that don't fall. But I am just so please with how well it works. I use it on my patio.

Bugs were also coming into the house when we opened the door! This zapper worked wonders for the room I placed it in. No flying bug has a chance in our home. It took care of all of the mosquitoes and moths that were attacking me in the room. The zapper does work.

Awesome, works as advertised, gnats were driving me crazy, biting me, flying in my face, no more! Snap, crackle, pop! Well maybe just pop! And they go to gnat heaven

this bug zapper works just about as good as an old timey one. Of course it's made cheaper with more plastic, especially the handle. we found out though that you can make something very very quickly to take the place of the original handle.

Both of the Zappers I bought have yet to Zap any small insect, such as a midge fly or no see um, which is why I bought the zappers. The Zappers only act as electrostatic glue traps (see insects trapped between electrodes, shown in photos below). This appears to inflict neurological damage in the larger insects, but does not reliably kill smaller insects. The 4 KV specs presented should have done the job, as a 4 KV RMS AC output would have peak spikes of 5.6 KV AC, which would be adequate to do the job, given the gap spacing of the electrodes. However, the Zappers I received put out a DC voltage of ~ 2.8 KV (see below, reading is in KV). That is why they do not Zap, but effectively function as an electrostatic glue trap that does not even reliably trap or kill smaller insects (which can often be seen walking on the electrodes without lethal consequences). Some of the smaller bugs manage to crawl out, however some die nearby, likely because of the neurological damage inflicted. This can require frequent cleanup.

Doesn't do anything except attract bugs. They aren't zapped. I've seen multiple bugs flying in and then flying right back out. Highly disappointed. I'll stick with my Zevo sticky pad lights instead.
