I noticed a big difference in better gas mileage and seem to perform a little bit better when you step on the gas. great thing about this air filter is every year clean it, dried out, put it back in it's brand new.

Best high performance high flow air filter for any Ram 1500 HEMI V8 5.7L Mileage went up from about 8 mpg to 16 MPG !!! on Pennzoil Ultra Platinum 5W-20 Full Synthetic engine oil and Shell V-Power Nitro + Premium gas mixed with STA-BIL 360 Protection Ethanol Fuel Treatment. On Highway it hovers around 20 MPG!!! With Variable Valve Timing and Engine Cylinder Management that shuts off 4 cylinders and running on another 4 cylinders for fuel economy shines 20 MPG-22 MPG. Based on the K&N filter I purchased in 2008 for my 2004 Dodge truck, I returned to update the air and cabin filters for my new to me 2017 Crosstrek. I discovered the 2008 filter in my truck is due for an update since we're well past it's 10 yr life span. In that time I've put over 200,000 miles on my truck and it's still kicking. K&N filters are worth the investment!

Have had the K&N since shortly after I bought the truck in '09. 172,000 miles. Cleaned every ~50k. This last time noticed media deterioration. Called customer service, they sent email asking for normal info, pop etc. Around 36 hrs later received confirmation on replacement being shipped. 2 days later received FedEx! Not my only K&N over the years, stand up company, they backed up what they claimed! Highly recommend! Thank you!
