Had an HP Officejet Pro 8035 that had not been used in about 3-4 years. Although it required several cycles of injecting the cleaner and letting it work to get the printheads clear (the label states that this may be necessary when there is a large amount of dried ink in them) and I used about 1/4 of the bottle's contents, the cleaner did the job and my printed pages look as good as when the printer was brand new! Seller also met or exceeded all expectations!
Having problem with printhead. Printer not recognizing it because ink had dried in the ports after I was away a couple weeks and all the cartridges were almost empty. Used this cleaing kit to flush out the clogged ports and get my favorite printer back in action. Did the job!!
I used this product on a color printer that has been sitting idle for over 10 years. Hoping for the best, I followed the instructions and successfully flushed out 3 of the 4 ink jets. I tried several times on the clogged one of the jets but it just would not clear out. In the end I had to trash the printer I was hoping to bring back, but seeing how well this product worked on 3 of the 4 ink jets that had been idle and crusty for over 10 years, I gave it 5 stars. I would think this would work great on printers that have not been down as long as mine was.
It unclogged the yellow port on my Epson eco tank. You use the yellow nozzle adapter for eco tank application. After that ran the regular head cleaning function and now back to normal printing. Did NOT have to run the deep clean procedure
my Epson xp-7100 was really bad, really. I followed the instructions to the tee, almost. it states to let it sit for an hour, and I did, but in that hour, about every 15 minutes, I pushed more cleaner through the head. It works as good as new now.
I followed the included instructions and it worked! I was only having problems with my red ink color but I chose to do all of my 4 colored print nozzles. I did repeat the process a second time on the red color print nozzle just to try to be sure that it would work and it did. I have plenty of cleaning fluid left over to use in the future if needed. We are now enjoying the full colors of our printer again. It is an Epson ET-4760 printer.
It was hard to fit anything on the nozzle in the printer so I used one of the bigger pieces that came with it. Definitely needed gloves. Ink got on me and leaked around the nozzle. But It worked. My printer hasn't been used in a long time. A/C and Texas heat dry things out fast.
Product worked well and had my printer back up and working well within a shoty time. - let it soak before running the power head cleaning option. The clear tube was not needed for my Epson printer - only the yellow adapter. Make sure you have paper towels in place before the fluid is pushed into the clogged heads. I needed to replace them before all of the clogged heads were flushed as they became saturated quickly. Would buy again.
the item ordered did not contain the two bend pieces to connect the tube to the caps Had two tubes and and no connecters. Was not able to use as directed
unreliable. I ordered and site said delivery today between 1-2pm. Website sent email as delayed. Well it was a prescription and I would have just gone and picked it up if they said initially that they could not deliver it as scheduled.
