Kodiak Protein-Packed Power Cakes Chocolate Chip Pancake and Waffle Mix, 18 oz Box

My mom is 92 this year and I buy as many things as she likes, as I possibly can. In any flavor these are the best pancakes. The nutritional value is better and the texture is perfect. This one has tiny little chocolate chip's that melt and don't overwhelm the pancakes. If you ask most kids if they want chocolate chip pancakes they likely will say yes. My grandson eats them plain off the griddle. They are good that way too. Love Kodiak products.

I do love these pancakes. I have been on a healthy eating binge....and these help control my cravings thanks to the protein count and they taste great. Make sure you add a few eggs to the batter...adds protein count and makes them light and fluffy.

Slightly more expensive than other pancake mixes due to its protein content and higher quality ingredients, but I think it's worth it, especially for my kids. These are delicious, already have chocolate chips (which we always add), and they're easy to make. Highly recommend

The texture is different than regular pancakes but I got used to it and actually really love these. I don't even need to eat them with syrup.

I absolutely love this brand. I have not had a bad item from this brand. I love most all their pancakes mixes. They cook up very fluffy. The taste is on point. The chocolate is superb!

Love the taste and the extra protein but the price (not just here) is always a bit high for pancake mix. I still indulge myself in a number of their flavors.

We.sell these where I work but you had a deal I couldn't refuse. I'm hooked now.

We love these for breakfast and they are even good as muffins or waffles!

First of all please check the picture. This is how much was in the bag before I opened it. Less than half the bag. Right off the bat I was going to give it 3 stars for the terrible value and waste of packaging. Second thing is that the box said to cook the pancakes on medium high heat. I tried that. It burned 10 seconds after the batter touched the pan. I turned it down to medium heat. Burned immediately. I turned it down to 4. Still burned before it was full cooked. And I was giving it time between turning it down so it could cool down a bit. I thought surely they didn't say to cook it on medium high heat but it will actually cook properly at 3. It did. It cooked acceptably at medium low heat. Maybe my stove is just a strange anomaly. An outlier. I don't know. But even the ones that didn't burn weren't very good. I get it, it's a protein pancake mix. I wanted it for the health(ier) benefits and I suppose it delivers on that aspect. But even the chocolate chips didn't help much. It was edible. And I like that it is healthier than regular pancakes. But I will not buy them again. I've never had such a frustrating time cooking pancakes before. It's definitely not my first rodeo doing that! I've cooked up the Great Value brand mix just fine. Maybe this pancake mix will work for you, I hope it does. But it didn't for me.
