The Kraft Tartar Sauce is my "go to" for fried fish, it has just the right level of tanginess. I store it in the frig upside down to take full advantage of the dispenser. It's hard to imagine my fried fish and fish sandwiches without the right Tartar Sauce.
One of the best commercial tartar sauces on the market. Perfectly seasoned with a light sweetness to it. The same exact tartar sauce that McDonald's uses on their Filet O Fish. I love this tartar sauce and it goes excellent with french fries or tater tots. Cheapest price out here is from Walmart, which grocery stores double the price.
I like the squeeze bottle so my kids can put the tartar sauce on their plate themselves and I don't have to dirty another utensil or make a mess. The shape does not take up a lot of space in my fridge. Fresh taste and goes great with fish stick dinners!
My family loves a good fish and chips night. This sauce holds up to Gordon's fish fillets. No it's not fresh restaurant fish and chips but it is very tasty.
Upon this modest jar, bearing the name of Kraft Heinz Company, I fixed my gaze as one might upon a relic dredged from the quiet depths of some indifferent sea—unremarkable at first glance, yet possessing an uncanny persistence that seems to linger beyond reason. It is a pale concoction, this tartar sauce, neither boldly asserting itself nor wholly receding into obscurity. It occupies a middle realm—an in-between state, as though hesitation itself had been rendered edible and sealed beneath glass. I tasted it. And lo, it did not announce itself with grandeur, but with a slow, creeping realization: creaminess unfolding like a half-remembered thought, tang arriving belatedly, as if reluctant to be known. It clung to the fish not as adornment, but as confession—an admission that even the most ordinary things may harbor depths we are ill-prepared to measure. In that moment, I found myself unnerved not by intensity, but by restraint. For what is more disquieting than that which is neither triumph nor failure, but something quietly enduring in between? I replaced the lid. And the jar remained upon the counter, as though it had always intended to be there… waiting. Boom!! Edgar Allen Poe inspired review, almost impossible to pull off but here we are! AJ
Love this sauce on any of the fish dishes I make. Adds just the right amount of flavor to enhance the dish. the ingredients are of good quality. No sour or bitter taste. I have tried several other sauces but always come back to this one as my favorite.
The Kraft Tartar Sauce has a great taste and consistency, but the bottle design needs changed! When the Tartar Sauce is lower in the bottle it will not slide down the inside to get the remainder out. Even turned upside down it will not slide down the bottle inside. A waste of some of the product! Have to cut the bottle in half and use a spatula to get the remainder out. Come on Kraft THINK!
We ordered tartar sauce today from Walmart delivery service. They clearly take the oldest item on the shelf to send to you because people will not buy something with limited expiration period remaining. This should have up to six months remaining. but we have only one week. I will never order anything else from Walmart that has expiration dates because I know what they’ll send is the oldest thing on the shelf to get it out before they have to discard it. My wife warned me this would happen if I ordered something like tartar sauce with an expiration date. She was absolutely correct.
It does not taste like any tartar sause I have ever encountered. The flavor does not complement that of fish. It is indiscri ably bad, which is not usually the case with Kraft products. I threw away an almost completely full new jar because of the unpleasant flavor. Totally wasted money!
