The bag is padded, minimizing impacts and noise, and has a locking slider on the drawstring. The tidiest way to store the system is anchor first, rode bundled up next to anchor at bottom of bag, then float on top, with the snap hook at the very top to be easily accessible to hang the whole thing onto something if desired. The grapnel hooks lock open or closed with a twist of the locking ring. Both ends of the rode are braided on, no knots. The 25 ft long rode and 3.5 lb size of the grapnel hook are just right given the targeted use as temporary shallow water mooring for small watercraft.

Great anchor for my kayak , but wish they would of made a way to adjust the depth of it. Had to come up with that on my own .

Anchor is plenty big for any kayak, canoe, row boat or PWC. Has a heavy duty rope but only 25 ft. I would bet that the anchor would pull the included buoy under water if the rope was detached from boat. All fits easily into storage bag, even with the three foot chain that I added. Seems like pretty good quality and well worth the money. Just wish that the rope was lighter duty and twice as long.
