I've recently retired and have quickly lost track of what day of the week it is and this clock remedies this issue. Also bought one for my mother who has diminished memory issues. The day of the week helps her with her prescription demand. Overall, I am very pleased with the quality and features. I also like that it has the option to be either AC or DC powered.

Great for keeping straight what day of week, date and time is. Visible in my living room from a far distance and it is helping me keep on track for appointments. I LOVE also that it has option of running on battery or electric with electric plug adapter included. I put it on my tall bookshelf....and it is very affordable clock. Get one!

Older Family member has memory problems. This helps her realize the actual date and day so she knows what day's medicine she is suppose to take. Big Digits, easy for her to read. Will run on batteries or electricity. When plugged in to electricity the back lite stays on making it easy to read. When used with only the battery, back lite goes off after a few minutes to conserve battery. Atomic Clock keeps accurate time.

My elderly aunt was always confused on what day it was and with this clock, this is no longer an issue. It is also easy to set and being an atomic clock, it should also keep its time.

My mom is beginning to show signs of the onset of dementia and has difficulty remembering the day/month, etc. This clock displays all that on large LCD display. She uses it every day and is extremely happy with it.

Great clock, easy to set, keeps perfect time.

It's okay, not great. Not as easy to read from a distance as I was hoping for my elderly mother. The contrast with the actual numbers to show up isn't great. Maybe digital display should be in different color.

This clock is exactly what I wanted. It is backlit so it is easy to read during the night, and shows the day of the week in big letters to keep me on track with scheduled activities. The reason I gave it only 3 stars was because it can't be read from below, so the height at which you hang it is important. If you want to view it from a seated position, you have to hang it lower on the wall. Once I changed where I had it hung, all was good.

Sadly, the one I received did not work properly. It did not change dates despite being on atomic setting.
