Without using Lactaid the negative effects in the digestive tract would be quite apparent. Taking it with the first bite of dairy has been a game changer! It is fast acting as described! Lactaid allows me to enjoy dairy, especially pizza and strawberry shakes, without experiencing discomfort. You may need to learn how many caplets to take to avoid total discomfort.

I can't believe I am 60 years old and just tried using lactaid. This stuff allows me to eat dairy again. This means I can have cereal with milk, ice cream, etc. I love this stuff!

I live by Lactaid I have it wherever I go. I simply can only use the Lactaid Extra (I think that's the name)1 pill swallow right before eating or drinking ANY dairy product.

Absolutely essential for instant relief and problems with eating or drinking dairy. One individual wrapped tablet just swallow it before you have your dessert, milkshake, ice cream cone and it's just like when you were a kid and enjoyed all goodies. Love the product but a small bottle would be convenient at times rather than the individual packaging. Not necessary for those that take it practically daily and take several at a time when we do. Good for slipping into your pocket or purse though. You can tell the difference between these and the store brand.

Great product! Taken with 1st bite of any dairy product, aids in the digestion for those who are lactose intolerant. Without this product I am unable to eat any foods containing dairy. With Lactaid Ultra, I am able to eat and drink dairy without any ill effects. Can be chewed if desired, with good results-chew with first bite of dairy food-the taste is bland enough that it does not interfere with the taste of the food. This product allows me to enjoy eating and drinking dairy again!

My only complaint about this product is the price. The Fast Act pills not only work faster, but you only need 1 of them -- every 30 minutes of eating dairy, you take another pill. So for example, you go out to dinner for less than 2 hours and during that time you eat mozzarella sticks as an appetizer (take a pill), food comes out 15 minutes later then you shouldn't need another pill until dessert, but if the food takes longer or if you take your time eating, then you need to take another pill. But it's time based, so if you want to eat pizza, cake, and ice cream all at once at a birthday party, then you only need 1 pill (as long as you eat it all within 30 minutes). Those of us who are lactose intolerant unfortunately need to buy these pills frequently, so it would be great if they made them cheaper or offered a bulk discount.

TRAVEL PACKS??? This is Lactaid item being misleading described as "travel packs". -- but when you read more closely, it is "96 Travel Packs of 1 Count." In other words, it is a bottle of individual caplets, NOT a box of the 6-count travel packets which I had intended to order. Please remove the misleading "Travel Packs" language from the description of this bottle.

Tried both tablets and chewable a week apart! I had a reaction to the Aspartame with severe vomiting and should have went to the ER but didn't want to throw up in my car! The tablet was no better one week later! I was refunded the cost told no need to return and tossed them in some used kitty litter to dispose of. This Lactaid stuff should be banned! Especially the Aspartame which poses severe health hazards due to the malalamine which many people have allergies to and aren't aware of this bad ingredient … read the ingredients list then think twice 🤢🤮
