Lasko 22” Oscillating Electric Ceramic Tower Space Heater, Tip-Switch, Remote, Black, CT22850

Love, Love, LOVE, this heater. it works so well, i often have to turn it on for just a few minutes then turn it back off cause it warms my room so well. I had bought my son one and he loved it so much he told me I should get one, so I did. I also like that you can set a temp, instead of just on or off. plus it also has 3 setting hi, med, low if you just want it on all the time. Tested the shut off function when its tipped and it shut off like it was supposed to. I've read some saying it gets really hot on the outside. i feel no heat anywhere other than where the heated air comes out from. (where its supposed to get hot) and even then, the machine itself isn't hot, just the air coming out of it.. Great buy, would highly recommend.

I have now 3 of these brands in the house/apartment/condo-neways. I wanted to give the same quality and comfort to my boys as I have in my room.. a remote control heating device that will warm and aswell give the convivence of not having to get up. Plus the safety is the main reason and focus. I have not been disappointed in this item as others have caught fire, and kept running after unplugged. Ghost electricity, (humm) idk, but with the lasko heater towers, I don't have that issue. Price is nice for what you are looking for and not looking for. Me I needed one fast and with a remote. I can't (we) be getting up turning on and off the air and the heat. just pass the remote control and i am good.. And my boyz are good too. :-)

Arrived the next day. So quiet I've already walked over and put my hand in front of it to see if it was on.. absolutely love this heater! Heats my entire living room and kitchen. The remote control is awesome!! Gets too warm just hit a button! So happy I ordered this 22" oscillating heater plus many functions I haven't learned them all yet but it throws the heat, doesn't take up space etc..

I bought this heater for my room that's about 715 sq ft. I thought it would not heat the whole room but it does. I was looking for a heater that would heat a large space and this one does it. I keep it on 'H1 at 74 degrees' and its automatically turns off and on so I don't have to keep adjusting it. I do notice that it does not automatically turn on and off when it oscillates, but it's ok, as long as it heats my room for this price, I'm good. I will be purchasing another one just in case of those real cold nights we rarely get in the south.

I have purchased a lot of other brands in the past that left me disappointed, however, Lasko products have never been one of them. I have never had a heater last more than one winter until a friend gave me a used one. I had it for three years before it was broken by outside forces. I purchased a replacement and this is the second year of service. I was so happy with it that I ordered this one this year as a backup!

i love this newer version because of the 12h timer. the heat that comes from all lasko ceramic heaters is amazing. i have had to use them as my primary heating at times and i can tell you for sure that these are some of the best and hottest you will get.

This winter seemed colder for us. This amazing heater didn't make us bundle up with the usual winter throws any more. Fifteen minutes and our entire very cold room was actually warm. We never had a space heater before and we now wish we had bought this year's ago.

Well designed with a remote that can hang on the top rear of the unit when not in use. The power cord is adequate in length. Lots of time options and temperature settings. Packed securely and was not damaged in shipping. We used this in the attic when we were not above freezing for 72 hours to keep our hot water heater water supply line from freezing and it did the job!

For the features that it promised, the oscillating feature didn't really matter because the heater was not as powerful as it seem like it should be, it took way too long to move the thermostat at one or 2° in a small bedroom. The only good feature was the timer with the remote. I would give it about a three out of five stars would probably work better when the temperature outside is probably in the forties to 60° but below that it just seemed like it didn't really help take the chill off a room.

Bought this heater based on the great reviews. Yes, it looks nice, it is very quiet, and it heats well. HOWEVER, when I unplugged it after trying it out only for about 30 minutes, the plug blades were EXTREMELY hot. With the overheat safety protection feature, it SHOULD have shut itself off, but it didn't. Based on all the other reviews, I guess I was the "lucky" recipient of a defective one. Returning because I won't feel safe using it.
