Built very strong, works excellent and moves a lot of air. Cannot beat the quality nor the price. Lasko makes a dependable product that is a great value and out-lastsall others with the superb airflow and built to last a long time. We purchased two and have owned others in the past and ran than 24-7 for 3 1/2 years before the motor burned up. So with normal use, not running 24-7, fan would last several years. Highly recommend this product.

I love my new fan, I got it for upstairs when the weather turns hot, I am sure it is going to keep it cool up there. Leave it to Wal Mart to have such nice things and at such an affordable price. Also the service is excellent, I got my fan very fast. Thanks Guys at Wal Mart and God Bless!

We use it in attic to circulate air on very hot humid days. Fan seems well built. Has 3 speeds; but it works very well and does the job just on medium speed. The only negative I find with it is that is somewhat noisy; but with the power it has it is understandable.

A friend had this fan and I couldn't believe the cooling power. The room felt as though an air conditioner was on a low to medium setting. My fan arrived at the start a heatwave in NYC. My BFF came by for the day during the heatwave and she was so amazed, that she ordered 2!

We live in a huge 100 year old house without central air so we are constantly replacing, buying and updating fans to keep our air conditioners more efficient. We buy mainly Lasko since this is the brand most offered (and best prices) from Wal-mart. While most of the fans say "Hi Efficiency" or 'powerful", they are just enough to blow a small breeze around if put in the middle of the room. Now this fan lives up to its name! It is about double the price of the 'plastic' version but extremely solid, well built and even on its LOWEST speed it is more powerful than any other Lasko fan I have bought running on its highest speed. So definitely not for those that just like to 'cool off' in front of a gentle fan, but if you need true 'cooling' done in the summer or in a hot work area, this is the fan for you!

best price on the internet, least expensive shipping ($2.97!), arrived a day earlier than they said! works great, love it, easy assembly, switch on the front a real plus, front grill easily removable for cleaning, holes small enough to keep dog tails and kids fingers out...it's all good. buy one from Walmart!

This is a great fan it cools the house and I use the AC less often on 70 degree days this fan does its job. When it's noisy outside on High the white noise from this great fan tunes out the noisy BS from outside even with the Windows open this fan numbs out the noise from noisy neighbors !

This fan is all metal. lt's strong , sturdy, and worth the price. l purchased another brand from a different store last year. The fan was not worth price. This one (LASKO) is great.

Box came all split apart; taped and came apart again. The two 1/2 nuts that attach the fans horizontal axis need washers under nuts to maintain fans position. Great fan; moves air really really well.

This fan would be great in a factory setting but way to noisy for the house. When it it turned upwards, it makes a strange kind of metallic noise that is very subtle but nevertheless irritating to have to listen to. Also, has a very slight smell once it gets going on the highest speed.
