Learning Resources Botley The Coding Robot Code Games For Boys and Girls, Ages 5 And Up

Botley was a great Christmas gift for my grand daughter! She attends a S.T.E.M. School and enjoys coding. She has had a great time working with hi My!

My children are in love with Botley! We homeschool and this has become a part of our interactive learning! They love when they have the chance to build mazes for Botley and then try to figure out how to get him through the mazes. Love watching their little brains work to figure out how to code Botley correctly. Such a fun toy!

My son is 5 and wants to be "robotics" when he "grows up". After we saw Botley featured and watched the videos, we had to have him! So far Botley has been a great progression from our past coding toys. There are so many coding challenges that we have have several hours of fun already!

All three of my kids enjoy playing with Botley! They are ages 11, 7 and 5. They like to setup the obstacles for each other and see if the others can get it! I have seen them using so much creativity with this toy and can't wait to see what amazing things they are able to do with this! I love seeing them play together with Botley!!

I have two sons ages 8 and 5. They both equally love Botley! My 5 year old is able to use Botley without much input from adults. Botley comes with all sorts of little toys that you can use as obstacles. My kids want me to buy another one so they each have one.

Botley the coding robot has been a huge hit at our house! Botley is a robot that you can code to do a variety of different activities. I love how it can be used for multiple skill levels. He will follow lines, can be coded to go through obstacles and has a bunch of accessories to add to the fun. My kids think he is so cute which helps draw them to engage in the learning. I like the fact that it is screen free way to start learning the basics of coding.

As a parent, I was eager to try a STEM-based learning toy that didn't require my phone or tablet to make it work. When Botley arrived, our entire family couldn't wait to make him come to life. I put in batteries, and opened the user guide to read how to get started. My kids (1 girl, 2 boys, age 8) immediately had him chatting and roving all over our house! There was a slight learning curve to remember what the buttons mean on the remote, but that was it. I was amazed at how quickly they had Botley maneuvering around cones, following lines, and pushing objects with his arm attachments. The "coding cards" in the kit are a great addition. My kids love the fact that these cards help them recall what they programmed, and they can make adjustments easily to get desired results. On top of it all, Botley has a fun personality! Weeeeee! He keeps us laughing. I would definitely recommend Botley, and hope Learning Resources introduces more accessories for Botley so we can continue fun coding challenges at home.

We love all things related to STEM and make an effort to introduce them to our 5 year old daughter. She has always loved legos and computer games. When we saw Botley, we were intrigued. Lots of toys become favorites when first introduced but we were curious to see if she would lose interest. To our surprised, she is just as interested as she was when we got it a few weeks ago. It was event the toy to take to her sleepover at Grandma. Love you Botley!

This is the cutest, and it's so much fun, my munchkin absolutely loved playing with botley, and shared with her friends who shared in her excitement. It's different than the other toys out there, it's something challenging and makes kids think. A great hands on toy! Love, love, love!!!!

We received the Botley Coding Robot the other day!. My children (3 and 7) were excited to open up the box. It was nicely wrapped up and came with many fun gadgets. The first thing my daughter said was, "Awwwww he's cute!" We had to search for many batteries for the robot and the controller, so that tested my kids' patience! My children, mostly my 7 year old, played with the robot for at least an hour when we opened it. She became frustrated when she couldn't make it move more than just forward. Once I helped her out, she started catching on. We look forward to coding more, and I also look forward to bringing the robot to my classroom! I believe the older children (9-10) will enjoy it more.
