My baby girl liked it mostly when she hates medicine this was a great way to make her drink it because it tasted sweet she like it 😆 and her iron is on point so great product thank you for the tips and help for a toddle and a picky eater. 😆
My 4 month old baby loves these drops. I add a serving to her bottle along with her multivitamin, both are cherry flavored, and she guzzles these bottles. It makes me feel better because she isn't keen on oatmeal baby cereal. So I love that she's getting her iron from these drops. I also love the included syringe and how clean and easy it is to remove the drops from the bottle.
I was skeptical about the system, but these have been surprisingly well-tolerated by by 6-month old.
At our last check-up, the doctor said her iron levels were finally in a healthy range. We didn't change anything else—just added this daily! I'm so relieved it's doing what it promises.
Giving iron used to involve tears—mostly mine. Now my little one actually asks for the cherry medicine. I never thought we'd get here, but here we are!
Before starting this, my toddler seemed tired all the time. Within two weeks, he was more playful and less clingy. I didn't realize how much low iron was affecting him!
I love that the syringe gives me a no-mess, no-guess dosage. Plus, my baby doesn't spit it out like the others. Iron supplement time is now… peaceful?!?
My 4m old was advised to start Poly Vi Sol with iron until she is eating solids, but her belly didn't tolerate it well and the smell was awful. This iron supplement has gone over so much better. I don't love the stopper, I've found it difficult to use, having to brace the bottle against my body to fill the syringe. And the provided syringe markings are already nearly worn off after a couple weeks of use. But the actual iron itself is great!
With it being cold and flu season and having a family history of anemia I feel really good about giving my kids the iron with vitamin C supplement. It benefits their immune system so much. It's a little hard to get my baby to take it but he doesn't hate it and tolerates it much better than other brands.
I recently purchased these drops having switched from another brand with sugar. Unfortunately, my baby didn't respond well to the drops - he would gag, the drops would ooze out of his mouth, and he started spitting up (propelling a mixture of iron and milk). We tried to administer the drops prior to a feed and in between paced feeding breaks. I am not sure if it's the cherry flavor or if the drops are so bitter without sugar it elicits a gag reflex, but once we switched back to the first, we stopped seeing the spit up. I invested in a two-month supply given my positive experience with other adult supplements, so it will go to waste, but if there is an option to try this without such a large time-dose commitment, I would recommend that route to all infant parents. Try before you buy! It may save you from a free tie dye of garnet colored clothing and furniture.
