LEGO 40518 High-Speed Train

I purchased this Lego set to complete the build for a present I was given at Christmas, making it a four car unit, as advertised on the box. It was a good build, instructions easy to follow and satisfying end result. If I was to offer any advice, the train should be displayed with the carriage numbers at the end away from the direction of travel, except for the final motor carriage, whose number should be closest to the direction of travel, not as advised on the box.

Excellent just what it was expected to be. My 5y.o. grandson %26 his 7 y.o. cousin with a little help from their Dads had this small to med.Lego train with battery car together%26 running with in a few hours . T hey have taken it apart %26 put it back together so many times since%26 it is still running his less than 2 y.o. sister has had some fun with it.

This is an excellent set recommend buying two though to have the full train was easy to build took about 20-30mins

Although this may not be as playable as other Lego train sets but the scale (especially after putting the two train sets together) and size would be more than worth it! A very nice set piece. I hope they do a steam version next!

I mean great for little kids and just to have a stand to show it off but one of the bad things is that it uses really bright colours like pink which are visible from the outside. Also it couldn't be run on tracks as the bogies aren't movable. Other than that a solid build and love that you can buy 2 trains and have more stickers for 4 carriages. Making a custom stand for mine.

I got the train, but I didn't look too deep in. After I got it I realized it is only really a display piece. I was misled by the packaging where I can make a long train buy purchasing a second copy. I am at a loss as to why it just couldn't have an undercarrriage that works on the tracks. So I'll be returning this one for a better one.

To be honest, not as bad as I thought it would be. I thought it was gonna be one of those very cheaply made ugly, small and useless cheap Legos. but it really surprises me, because the build experience was not bad and it's cool if you want to take some cinematic photos. Overall, I would recommend this to someone of a younger age group or someone that is in the beginner-intermediate level of building

At first I thought you could put it on an actual track which is the whole reason why I bought it but when I built it I found out I couldn't and it just SOOOO boring and you guys actually have to stop only putting one front end of the train like where the driver sits next time ADD 2 of them please do not get ts
