I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. Very good option to keep your toddler busy on the go. We used this set while on the airplane and it worked. The only confusion is age restriction 5 on the pack vs 3 on the instruction
I have this and one of the only other 'Turning Action' kits 60279 Fire Hazard Truck and it is THE BEST! Lego has had this technology for YEARS and I seriously don't understand why they don't put turning action on ALL of their trucks and SUVs as it acts as a working suspension too and completely transforms the entire playing experience!! The lil' Land Rover defender!? The giant unimog fire truck!? No turning action!! Why not!?! Get it together lego!
I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. I know that as an adult, it should be a little easier to assemble but I had a hard time somehow, which is actually good. As to my pre-schooler nephew, he was able to understand the assignment. He has a bit difficulty with the small parts which, with practice, he will get better. That is the beauty of the toy, of Lego.
Got this for my 5 y.o. for Christmas. It has special wheels that turn left and right. It even has a water blaster with 3 water pellets
I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. I love the attention to detail Lego has in their products. They don't miss! Every single piece is high quality and will not easily snap or break which is super important around kids. The instructional book is amazing. It lists every single piece and has such detailed instructions it makes it so simple to put the build together. Love that the Lego t truck actually has moving wheels. This is a super cute set and my nephew loves it! I absolutely recommend this set!! 97 pieces sounds way scarier than it actually is.
I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. This is a fun and simple Lego set. My five year old and eight year old enjoyed working together on building this set and they had a lot of fun playing with it once it was built. I would recommend this set for a small gift or a beginner set.
Some small sets are great to "flesh out" larger displays. Some things you do just need smaller details that aren't part of the original larger sets. So smaller ones like this work great. And this one was on sale, so the value was amazing. Easy build, nice details, and will fit into many scenes, or if you have a young one around, definitely playable.
This is typical quality LEGOS. You can't go wrong with this low price purchase. The kitten stuck in the tree is so small that we are calling it a kitten! Very fun extra pieces that we don't have yet. This is definately worth getting for this price :)
I bought two of this set, i like how the wheel can play like those hot wheels monster truck. The little water gun shoot really far, maybe too far, but my son loves it!
I am glad I bought this set at a discounted price! I gave it a 3-star rating because of the price, little high for the number of pieces (97). After assembly, I was disappointed that there was not much detail as in other City sets of the same type. I am happy I found it through Walmart, as LEGO shows it on their site as a retired product, this might be the reason for the high price. Other than that, it serves its purpose of fitting perfectly with my theme collection.
