Lenovo Smart Display 8" with Google Assistant

Super easy set up, and the price was nice. So much fun and lots of laughter. The music sounds wonderful, speaker is top notch. We are learning how to "cast", That's a cool feature. My husband says its going to take his place, but who's going to take the garbage out? So I asked her and yes she had the answer!

I have this item in my kitchen. I got it because of the COVID so that I could easily video chat with my parents. It works great, the call quality with duo works well. It was easy to set up and the sound quality is decent. It doesn't look as nice as some of the other models but it's still nice. Also the fact that it's far cheaper is great as well. I use it all the time in my kitchen. The display is nice big and bright.

The Lenovo Smart Display is a great product and works well with the Google Home app which I already use regularly with my Chromecast. The display is large and clear, and it is definitely helpful when trying to follow recipes in the kitchen and when I am hosting and want a hub to control my Spotify playlists. I intend to use this product to connect to other Smart Home devices in my apartment. I am a Walmart associate and reviewed this product as part of a giveaway.

If you're in the market for a smart assistant with a display, but can't spend $200+, this is a great option. Having an extra inch over the Google Home Hub actually does make a pretty big difference and it's not as bulky as the 10 inch version. The speakers are solid and the performance is as expected (which is great). This is a great addition to any kitchen and makes for a great morning device to keep you on top of the news and weather. The Lenovo Smart Display 8” has made my life so much easier! I have 2 Google homes but always wished that my Google home had a screen for when I looked up my commute or wanted to see ingredients to a recipe. With the Lenovo Smart Display with Google Assistant I am able to play music, see a recipe, ask Google questions, check the weather and so much more that I never imagined! I love how clear the screen is and I can interact with the screen via touch. The audio is super clear so I never struggle to hear the music or Google when it answers my questions. The design is very sleek so it fits right in with the rest of my home which is outfitted with the latest technology. With all these features, I think my favorite part about the Lenovo Smart Display is the Google photos features. I love being able to see all of my pictures, just by asking Google to pull them up. A lot of my favorite memories are literally always at my fingertips. The video chat feature also works like a charm and I can connect with my friends and family, hands free and they can watch me cook dinner or even watch a tv show with me. All in all the Lenovo Smart Display was a great purchase at an even better price point and I would highly recommend for anyone who’s in the market. I received this product as part of a giveaway.

Love the Lenovo Smart Display. It is alike a google assistant with display. Love the fact that if you are working with one thing and ask it to do other things it will then go back to do the thing you were originally doing which is wonderful while multitasking as you can easily forget it. You can easily add you personal photos and songs to it and browse through it. Works as so many devices in one. I received this product as part of a giveaway

Wanted a way to make Google Due video calls. Works really well, bought two of them. Starting to use it more for day to day tasks like checking the weather, my commute, calendar and setting our nest thermostat. Looking forward to what else google has in store for this. Bought this over the Google Home Hub since this has a camera.

One of my favorite purchases! All the information associated with Alexa BUT it has a screen to watch you tube videos, read recipes, my photos rotate on it, ask for dinner music,or any artists you can name,and I can control it's volume on my phone as well. It's just awesome.

We've had Amazon echos and smart speakers and Kindles and ipads and tablets and blahblahblah, so I was expecting the adjustment period and minor disappointments that come with new devices. There's almost over feature that you want that they don't do. Not this one. Mostly, I really really love this. It's so easy. It doesn't struggle to understand us. Its screen is great. Love that there's a switch to disable the camera. Duo video calling works pretty seamlessly. The only thing I don't like is that it's SO easy to use that it's almost over-simplified. There are almost no options in the settings. But then you find you didn't really need the settings after all. Because it's already set up pretty dang perfectly. It is what it is and it does it very well, but don't expect it to be able to do anything other than be the home video hub that it's supposed to be. Favorite part: I have it's background set to one of my Google photo albums and it rotates through a family photo every couple minutes, like a digital smart frame. Makes it a two-for-one product since I was also previously thinking about getting a smart frame.

Bad product I could only use 3 times lost the audio completely. I have not been able to use it for more than a year because the Lenovo Warranty does not cover PR and the Extended Warranty with Allstate is another headache. NOT RECOMMENDING ANYTHING FROM LENOVO !!!
