LG New 14,000 BTU 700 Sq Ft Smart Wi-Fi Enabled Window Air Conditioner, White

Our old Zenith AC in our 2011 Aliner camper died on our last trip. It took us several hours of research on several days to find one that would fit in the place cut out in the side wall that the old one came out of. This LG model was almost perfect! My husband did a few mods like cutting the "feet" off of it and was able to use the old metal bracket to set it back up in the same place. A little caulking and drilling some extra holes for rivets and the unit fit right in the space. Controls and vents above the cabinet and the inside cabinet is still useful for supplies. We couldn't have chosen better! Cold air was down to 65 within 30 minutes after we set the temperature where we wanted it. It also has movable vents, remote control and temperature window. Good cool air, reasonable fan noise, price and shipping. We are thrilled with our easier than we thought installation!

Unit has only been here and installed for five days. So far so good. Cooling my kitchen, a little less than 300 ft.². Seems to be doing a great job. Energy saver option works well and is very quiet! I now have 3 of these units in my house because the central a c broke down. These are very economical, easy to install and runs quietly with the different fan speeds. Here in the gulf south we've been having some record breaking heat, and these units are keeping the house cool. My electric bills have been running $3.00 a day.

Quiet and efficient, it's cooling the cottage 250 sf living area. Great price and Quick delivery during a heat wave. I'm happy!

The LG air condioner itself meets my expectations. What I disliked was the way it was packaged and FedEx's handling of the unit delivering it with the box all caved in along one edge where it was apparently dropped. The pictures below are of the damaged a/c as received. I am too busy to go thru the hassle of having to return it and wait for another repacement to be delivered and possibly be also trashed. The a/c works well and is quiet which is what I wanted.

I ordered an LG 15,000 btu to replace same. What I received is a 14,000 btu...box and metal plate say 14,000 btu, packing slip says 15,000 btu and I paid for a 15,000 btu. Please reimburse the difference. I am not impressed with this AC, for a large room it will take longer to cool, so it won't last as long.

A 6,000 BTU air conditioner SHOULD do 150-200 sq/ft room easily. My bedroom is 173 including the closet and this AC constantly keeps the room 5 degrees above what I set it at. Maybe the thermostat doesn't work correctly. I usually keep my bedroom 55° F in winter and 60° in summer (as low as most ACs can go). This is underpowered or something... Constantly keeping a well-insulated room about 66° when set at 60°/cool/high fan. Really disappointing as I struggle to sleep below 65°. If temperature is really important to you, get the cheap Frigidaire model. It worked a lot better than this LG. Will not buy another one of these.

Don't buy this item fro Wal-Mart, brand new and doesn't power on, and can't return, know they sat it came directly from LG and i have 2 deal with LG directly what a mess and it wasn't cheap either....

Unit was physically damaged inside box. This was either a return for shipping damage on another sale or damaged at manufacturer. Accessories were in new condition but plastic bag over power cord was torn open to power unit before repacking for resale to me. I was satisfied with similar product purchased 2023 but Four Seasons will never sell another product to me. The compressor was not working properly, it could have been from the way it was delivered. The box was stained and beat up also the box was delivered on it side.
