This bike is a total assembly. I have plenty of experience working on and maintaining bicycle's.
What is assembled you will be disassembling lubricating and properly reinstalling. I'm talking threading and adjusting all cables, derailer, chain, seat, rear axle, fenders, and a flimsy rear basket that comes in 5 pieces.
I spent 6hrs. Plus an hour on the basket putting this bike together.
The bike is of poor quality the crank is about as cheap as they come and the handle bars right behind, finish looks to be a one coat job.
After all the effort in putting this bike together it is difficult to ride particularly on an uneven surface. I didn't believe my 60yr. old wife till I took it out myself.
When pedaling this bike it will want to pull you in a circle as to the fact it only drives the rt. rear wheel. Imagine sitting in a wheelchair and only pulling on one wheel. This bike is best suited for a flat surface. Better bikes drive both rear wheels to compensate for this.
I would suggest saving yourself a pack of trouble and buy a bike from a local bike shop.
Now for the best part!
You will be dealing with Lilypelle to return this bike not Walmart. You best be within 30days.
It was a very frustrating 2 weeks to get a full refund. They will be nice as pie to you because they haven't any intention of returning your money, they will stall, deceive, negotiate and frustrate the %23$%23%23%23 out of you!
If it was not for the kind and understanding customer service Representatives at Walmart I most likely would not have received a full refund.
I only wish that I could give zero stars!!
