Local Mad Priest Coffee Roasters - Matriarch Espresso Blend, Whole Bean, Medium Roast, 10oz

I bought this item for my new espresso maker after seeing the raving reviews on the espresso beans. I have to agree that it is really yummy! I made my first espresso with it on Christmas morning and was very pleasantly surprised at how good it tasted for my first cup! Will definitely be keeping this in my pantry!

I make this espresso in a moka pot and it's the highlight of my morning, at this point it's the reason I'm okay with waking up early. It's perfect in homemade lattes and I don't think I'll ever switch brands.

I bought whole beans to make espresso and they were very good! The espresso had a deep rich flavor with some notes of chocolate. I will buy these beans again.

I really like this espresso; it's not too dark and not too acidic. It has a good overall flavor and can be paired with many different flavors. I've successfully tried it with brown sugar, lavender, vanilla, chocolate, raspberry, cinnamon, and just milk; in each case, I enjoyed it.

It is a little pricey, and not a full pound, but I have been drinking Mad Priest for years, and it gets the morning off to a great start!

I enjoyed this coffee. It had fruity undertones which I was not expecting, but it did nicely for my morning espresso.

maybe it's just this batch, but I'm having an extremely hard time dialing in my shot with this brand of espresso. it seems overly dry and doesn't dispense out of my machine correctly, despite the grind I use for it.

The beans were pale and dried up. There was no shiny, oily sheen like you would expect. The flavor was incredibly mild for an espresso bean and very fruity.
