Potential customers should be aware that the cast iron skillet is heavy. It does not feel heavy moving around kitchen but getting in and out of oven when it is 400 degrees hot it is difficult to manage. I am in good physical shape and still have some stress in getting hot pan out of oven. Other than that I am most happy with the cast iron pan.

I am so impressed with this Lodge 12" Chef Collection skillet. It arrived right on time as promised by Walmart, which I really appreciated. The fact that it comes pre-seasoned is a huge plus—I was able to use it almost immediately. I made a roast chicken in it, and it turned out incredibly juicy and delicious in just 40 minutes! I did have to give the oven a good scrub afterward, but I'll blame the chicken for the splattering, not the pan! ;-) Highly recommend this for anyone looking to level up their cooking.

After years of putting up with a badly warped cast iron pan I finally replaced it with the Lodge 12" frying pan. Love it. I can do scramble eggs in this pan with virtually no sticking. Cook bacon, sautee veggies, and so much more.

Exactly as described: heats evenly, large enough for multiple pieces of filet. Cleans easily. A bit on the heavy side, but the front handle makes lifting/moving it no problem. I recommend this skillet.

Lodge cast iron is American made and can't be beat for searing. The handle is comfortable and the pour spouts are helpful with pan gravies. You won't regret getting one or more of these beauties!

Easy to use because of double handles. Perfect size also and great value for the price. I've seen the same sold elsewhere for quite a bit more.

We love it %26 use it all the time! Not only is it the perfect size, but the rounded, wok-like bottom makes it the perfect omelet pan.

Replacing my old cast iron pan and this one is slightly lighter and the handle shape makes it easier to use! Love that it comes pre seasoned!

I love the size of this pan. You can fry a big steak in there, and still have room for potatoes or veggies on the side. The pour spouts on the sides are very handy for dumping grease off or pouring out the contents of the pan. The only negative thing is, it is quite heavy, so you have to eat your Wheaties!

This was my second Lodge cast iron purchase. I ended up returning the 12” skillet because it was too big for my stovetop, but there was nothing wrong with the quality. I kept the 10” skillet. It is wonderful. I will be purchasing more Lodge cast iron in the near future.
