Lodge 9 Ounce Cast Iron Oval Mini Server, HMSOV, Heat Treated & Seasoned

A great little server for sitting on the griddle. The heat from the griddle can be used to heat this cast iron server and food. The food will remains warm even when placed on the dining table. A lot longer that a ceramic plate.

These mini servers are amazing. They are the perfect size for individual servings. The cast iron keeps the food warm - which is a HUGE plus for food that gets cold quickly. I used them on Christmas day to serve macaroni and cheese. I really like them and I'm really happy I purchased them. I have been watching these at a high-end kitchen store, and I jumped at the chance to buy them when I saw them at Walmart for almost half the price. The only downside to this order was the packaging. They weren't packaged very well, but I guess I can't complain because they didn't break in transit (surprisingly). I think we'll be enjoying these servers for a long time.

Hard to tell how big it would be. It's perfect for a single serving of hot cheese dip or something similar. Definitely too small for 2 so now I need another one!

The lodge mini server is the best !!!!, The packing of the package was sub standard . One of the servers arrived with a broken handle. Cast iron is HEAVY , the shipment was packed with one small piece Of bubble wrap placed between two cast iron mini servers with the other two On top of those . The whole box was too loosely packed for the products. Satisfied with the products scratching my head over who packed it !!!!

We have not cooked using this product yet. however they are very sturdy and heavy as they should be. When shipped to the store they were just put in the box with a few blow up cushions. They did not scratch each other even though they were pretty loose in the box.

Mini being the key word here! Otherwise great product because it's Lodge of course. But I will be returning these as they are way too small.
