Fantastic!

Jenn March 14, 2025

This is a very small cast iron pan. My daughter wants one so I decided to start my Christmas shopping. She wants it to make eggs in for egg sandwich breakfast sandwiches. She will be happy. All of the cast iron items are the Lodge brand. I have a set myself. I highly recommend them.

Ashtray

sarge December 9, 2015

In sewing class we learn that our forefinger can be used as a measuring tool. From knuckle to knuckle is 1". Wish I had thought of that before I ordered a 3-1/2" skillet for desserts. Very small. Back in the day when everyone smoked these were ashtrays. That is why there is an indentation on each side. Your cigarette rested on the cigarette rest. In my house I can't think of anything to use them for since we don't smoke anymore. Sam's had a cookie pan combo mix last year and that is what I was buying them for. Individual cookies/cakes. Anything in these pans would be 2 bites. They also were shipped from Bic which is not Walmart and you have to return to them. I try NOT to buy from anyone other than Walmart so I can return to the store. Now I have to buy the 5" pans which is definitely a better size. If anyone can think of anything to use them for besides an ashtray please post.

Good Quality Lodge Craftsmansh in a pan too Small

Todd May 3, 2025

The pan is really too small. I thought I was getting what is an egg pan - which seems to be closer to 5" not the 3.5". It's nice quality you would expect from a Lodge. It is cast iron, so the handle gets hot, and it is so small it is hard to grip with most of our pot holders. I looked on the Lodge web page, and they only have one size silicone handle cover made for the larger pans. I love cast iron. Treated properly, and they are non-stick, and cook well. Relatively easy to clean too.

Lodge skillet

Charlotte October 2, 2025

This review is not due to the quality of the product. It was my fault. I was thinking I was ordering a small skillet for one egg since I live alone. I should have measured what 3.5 is. I had about 6.5 in my mind. . it is unuseab;e as far as cooking is concerned but I will keep it and be more careful the next time I order.
