Delicious fried chicken made easy! I used to waste so much time and money by finding the right fried chicken recipe and this seasoning mix is a one stop shop! No more buttermilk or special types of starches or flour or seasoning. It's so good and I highly recommend it! I also recommend their fish fry seasoning packet as well since that's also amazing, especially for catfish.
I am hard to please on what kind of breading mix I buy. I saw this and said I am going to try this Louisiana Chicken Fry Mix. It is a pain getting it open. I thought it had been just in the box, no bag or anything. But I managed to get the bag out of the box. This is the best breading I have ever eaten. It is so good. I thought it would be extra spicy, but no, it has just enough spice. I fried some flounder in the breading, and it was delicious. Try it and see if you like it.
Makes great fried chicken. Just follow the recipe, make sure deep fry oil is clean and hot, don't overcook, and then finish on a cooling rack in the oven at 190 degrees for 10 minutes. I also shake a little Accent seasoning before putting in the oven.
Really like this breader. I used to have to add corn starch to the other brands I tried, but this has it already in it. along with cornmeal. I also like how I don't have to double dip, my son loves crunchy chicken, and I was going through alot of breader before. Well, I haven't had to double dip to get a good crunch! I also don't do like the box says and make a batter first, I just do the egg and milk mixture and then dip my chicken. The flavor is good and you get plenty of crunchy goodness! 😋
it's just an easy diy for making home versions of your favorite restaurant style fried chicken....FYI: buy the chicken tenders and make a wet batter on them and dip into dry better homemade chicken fingers ..it won't disappoint
I have not tried it, yet because I always boil my chicken. However, when I do decide to make fried chicken, it will be nice to try a new coating and I know it will be superb because the Louisiana fish coating is excellent.
We use this to fry chicken, fish, and pork. After trying several others, this one is the best! Crunchy texture and incredibly tasty. Choose the spicy version if you prefer some heat. This one is perfect for us.
Makes your chicken taste so good I do not use no other seasoning but this one when i'm frying chicken it's the best finger licking good
I tried this and kentucky Kernel. Both way to salty and I have a sodium tooth. I added nothing extra and it was just cllllleeeehhhh. It is a pinch better than the Kentucky stuff but I wish they would just chill on the salt.
This was the nastiest tasting stuff I've ever eaten. We eat chicken tenders in this house, we each had one or part of one and the rest were tossed as was the remainder of the bag of coating. And it didn't make frying chicken one bit easier, it was actually more work. Just walk on by this stuff, get some flour, garlic powder, paprika and salt %26 pepper. You're welcome.
