I have been doing a teriyaki jerky trial with all the big name seasoning makers. Backwoods is really good, but with a little sweetening Lucky Teriyaki is the best. A deep flavor profile. Add some sugar or brown sugar and you have a winner.
i love the heat of the seasoning
great love the individual packets
Very good flavor
This was our first attempt making jerky on our smoker. This marinade kit made it so simple. Everyone I spoke to prior to making this jerky said you must do the jerky in a dehydrator. I can tell you the jerky we made today on our smoker was just as good or better than any store bought jerky. Thank you lucky I'll be making more jerky this next weekend!
We have found this to be our favorite from your line up of jerky seasoning. Highly adaptable to improvise with add on flavorings.
very good flavor and easy to make into venison jerky
The seasoning is GOOD but like they warn us, the amount in each kit is the average spice level. You do recommend buying the bigger containers of the seasonings to increase the flavor to which I agree I'll have to do this. I recommend to the buyers, if you think a flavor sounds good just buy the big containers or reduce the amount of meat your using with the sample kits. If someone from the company is reading this, add a 1/4 more seasonings with your samples because they are good. It just leaves you wanting just a little more flavor. Great product adjust accordingly......Enjoy
Used with straight venison and the flavor wasn't as hot as I would like. Might have to add something next time.
Was very salty, not much of a teriyaki flavor. Won't recommend
