I love this rice. It tastes great and I love that it is organic. It is the most cost effective organic brown rice I've found. I do usually throw it all in the freezer for a couple of days before I use it because there was once when my rice developed weevils inside. But I know that's possible with organic grains. Throwing it in the freezer is not that difficult and worth it

I was able to buy this size (12 lbs) where I lived before at a warehouse store. I saw this online at two places - Amazon and Walmart. I ordered it from Amazon and the expiration date on the package was less than 2 months out - so I gave it to a food pantry right away. I then ordered it from Walmart, a local store here - and I was pleased that the expiration date was 6 months out. This is the best rice for Spanish Rice, plain with dinner and also, for Asian fried rice.

This is my favorite rice, but I've only been able to purchase in 2 lb bags at a premium price. The quantity and price points of this product makes it a very easy decision and recommendation for those who enjoy this brand of short grain brown rice.

I love Lundberg rice and it's my preferred brand. This particular bag has lasted me 4 months so far and I use it often for crockpot meals and mass dinners. I received my order for a 12 lb bag of Lundberg organic brown rice today. The bad had obviously been opened and resealed. There was tape all over the bottom of the bag where it had been resealed. I am not eating this. I want my money refunded immediately!!!!!!!

Past 12lb bags of Lundberg Organic Short Grain Brown Rice have been fine. We like this rice for its flavor and ease of cooking. This last bag we had to toss as it was contaminated with weevils, it happens and I do not blame anyone but I thought I would mention my experience with the product. We will go back to the small bags as they are easier to inspect.
