I love Steel Cut Oats for the texture. I love eating oatmeal for good health, but I don't like the texture of regular oatmeal so steel cut oats are the perfect answer. It takes a little longer to cook but I put it on and let it simmer while I get ready for the day. Perfect timing! And it definitely gives me good health.

In our family we call them Irish Oats lol but whatever you call them, please call them delicious! I enjoy mine soaking overnight with a bit of my favorite fruit juice and spices for extra flavor and to help the cooking process along for morning breakfast! I do add additional fruit on top , I'm a blueberry person, my grandson prefers strawberries lol ! I make a big pot and put some portions away to reheat later in the microwave!
