Bob's is employee owned, the very best value and the highest quality period. These are best soaked 8 hours, so they cook up easy. A microwave does not cook these well. The quality is consisently superb. You buy the weight listed, is a bit more expensive, but worth every penny. Ive used these oats forever, actually dont bother with any other. Theres bo comparison to these oats. yes take a little longer for cooking time. But the texture is awesome as well as the oats taste. Very satisfying. Really give it a try and youll immediately see what im talking about.

I like this product. I grew up on gritzwurst which combined ground pork and steel cut oats. It became a comfort food. I figured out I could cook up a batch of this with a pork bullion cube, I keep it in the fridge, dish out what I want, put an egg on top and microwave a comforting breakfast.

Bob's stone ground oatmeal is a good purchase. I find them to be a little too firm, kind of like eating al dante pasta, that still needs cooking. Still, I would recommend it and buy it again. Other products are price prohibitive that I have had and enjoyed.

Packaging was dirty and dusty. We will keep because we had guest that enjoy steel oats over oatmeal.
