Luzianne Unsweet Iced Tea Single Serve Pods, 12 Count

These are my favorite iced tea pods.

Just what I wanted. I get tired of coffee all the time and so a change of pace is just the thing I wanted.

Luzianne makes great ice tea, it's not bitter tasting.

I wouldn't think a tea pod would be good but it was! I am impressed!

I use to drink Lipton tea years back. My mom is in love with the flavor of Luzianne tea. When she came to visit with me, I ask her to make iced tea. She did and it turned out to be the Lusianne brand. It has the best flavor of an iced tea should have. So, my iced tea maker went on the frits. I thot of Keurig and ordered the K-Elite, with Lusianne tea. I am in heaven now. The price was right for the coffee/tea maker and the tea and coffee pods. I will now always have the best of both worlds.

We recently purchased a new Keurig coffeemaker which has a “over ice” feature. I grew up with home brewed tea but had given up on it and gone to ready made bottled tea. It was acceptable but I longed for a good ole glass of fresh brew iced tea! Well, all it took was to order Luzianne kcups and I’m back in business! So happy and it’s so easy! Fill up a 12oz. glass from the icemaker in the door, place it in the Keurig, add my Luzianne Kihei up and hit “over ice!” A minute or so later and Voila! fresh ice tea! Wonderful! I was surprised at how good this tea is. I love iced tea and I am critical of many iced teas. This was very tasty and I drank 3 glasses right away. It was easy to make in my Keurig. Will love it when it gets warm during the summer and now I won't be buying it in the market.

I generally drink my tea hot and this time of year, December, I don't drink Iced tea anyway, so I don't know how this tea would taste iced. When it is first brewed it is a little strong for me and a lot strong for my wife and has to be watered down. I get 2 or 3 brews out of 1 pod. My wife gets maybe 7 or 8 brews per pod. The flavor is great and well worth getting and preparing to personal preference.

I love Luzianne regular tea bags so I thought I would like this too - not so much. It would be great to get one glass of tea out of this one pod, but I made 2 glasses (not cups - glasses) of tea and they were so strong and so dark that I just poured it down the drain. Maybe I'm looking at this all wrong. I think I could probably make a half a gallon of tea from one pod and that's what I should do instead of making just one drink.
