M-D Building Products 50101 20 ft. Gray Vinyl Garage Door Threshold Kit

I ordered a 20 foot strip to have extra. I cut it to the correct length of 16 foot 8 1/2 inches. I rolled it out to season and lay flat. In the mean time, I took the strip and using each end, I custom cut each end to fit the left side and the right side. Now that I had this pattern. I laid this pattern on each side of the full length piece. I put it in place on both sides - making a back line on the epoxied floor with a market. I snapped a line with a chalk line than with a 4 foot straight edge, drew a line with the market. I also made a center line. The center line allowed me to stay on track with the caulking gun. I pit a line of caulk an inch on either side of the center line than a bead down the center. I only did half of the floor. I laid it down keeping the back of the product on the rear line I drew. When I reached a little before the middle, I laid the product but with a hump to keep it from falling in the caulking. I did the other half of the floor. perfect and easy. Just walk down the threshold, back n forth a few times, keeping it on your line. Once you think you have all the caulking spread, close the door on it and check your line. If it's on line - goodnight.

I had no idea that something like this existed but I'm looking forward to using it to provide additional insulation to my garage for both the winter in the summer months. I cannot speak for how long the glue will stay down but it looks nice and hopefully will work well in keeping out rainwater, critters, dirt and dust. It works well so far!

It makes the entrance of the garage look nicer instead of the worn old concrete that was there before. The vinyl is exceptional. It is thick and wide. We run a charging cord out of our garage and I was able to carve a channel through it so the cord didn't interfere with the seal.

I applied this threshold kit and followed the directions. it turned out great and it was easy to install. it keeps my garage insulated so I am happy with this purchase.

Every storm I could see water leaking through the bottom of my garage door seal and the floor. This threshold really does create a weatherproof, dirt-proof and critter-proof seal with the angle and tightness of the seal. I like that the threshold strip is gray so it blends in nicely with the cement garage floor. It is very quick and easy to install. Any one should be able to do it following the instructions. The product picture shows it comes with a T-Rex brand glue but it came with 2 tubes of PROVA-SEAL which worked just fine.

I tried to install this in my garage. it won't lay flat no matter what you do. the lips front and back are lifted in areas no matter shad you do. it ended up making a complete mess. the adhesive should also be clear not white. would not recommend
