This thing is really cool. I unboxed it when I got it, and I started playing with it. The first time that you use it in Create mode it fills full of mist and bellows out in a great big puff. But, as you use it more and more, it will run out and you will have to buy a refill kit if you want to see the mist come out again and again. Chances are that your little one will be begging you to get the refill kit for theirs. Anyway, the spells are super easy and you just kind of do the same motions over and over again to get it to advance to the next step which I like. I have yet to use this in night light mode. But, I can see some kids wanting to do that with it. It's just that I don't think that I will be with the price of batteries at the moment.

I was so excited to be giving this as a Christmas gift to my 7 year old daughter but the product came leaking and cannot use. It is oil based so it got over EVERTHING and made a real mess. The packaging on this needs to be revisited as I have read other reviews about the same complaint. I did not reorder fearing the same thing would happen again. Luckily Walmart was amazing with the return and is why I gave it 2 starts instead of 1.

It’s a nice little toy, but way too expensive for basically a one time use item. They need to make different pixies that you can use in the same crystal ball or cauldron, whichever Magic Pixie you have because having to pay that much again just to get a different one is ridiculous

are you serious walmart! Deliverd as is no box, no bog. Placed on our porch for the entire world including a 6 year old little girl. Was ment to be her christmas present. Do better walmart

Got for my daughter for her 5th birthday, it’s all she’s been talking about. When we opened the plastic around the clear ball I noticed water drops all over it. I didn’t think anything about it as my kids have done the older version of this, and I thought there was liquid involved. We watched the video from the code you scan and practiced the wand. Went through all the steps never seemed to do anything beside light up and then at the end the bottom of the ball opens and the animal came up. No mist at all. Definitely not as fun as the original because it didn’t do anything.

Everything worked...except the one thing my child was most excited about... the "mist". Replaced batteries, refilled "potion", followed all trouble shooting steps, reset multiple times... even YouTubed the site and went through their videos. 2 hours on Christmas morning trying to get the thing to "mist".... and nothing. Trying to set up a return, and the system keeps rejecting it at the end saying "error"... hopefully, I can return in store- because my child was truly entranced by the lights/sounds- and I think she will truly enjoy it, if we can get a working unit.

not worth the money. bought for a christmas gift and my daughter was very disappointed. It didn't mist at all. So when the creature came up, we saw it happen, it wasn't a surprize. we did it over and over again and watched yourube videos, and it just would not mist! then, on the 5th try, the creature would not pop up. we will be returning it.

absolutely garbage me and my daughter both cried it will not reveal the creature and i dont want to break her out but the ball is no longer interacting other than an annoying beeping like a truck in reverse the creature inside is trying to interact with the one but I can't do much with it inside the base

Didn’t work at all. Tried putting brand new batteries in it (even though it came with batteries) and this at least got it to turn on, but it gave us a low batterie alert with the brand new batteries and wouldn’t work.

This was totally CRAP! The batteries were dead on arrival and the whole unit didn't work from the onset! I should have listened to all the negative reviews but my granddaughter really wanted one. Do not buy one!!
