Very well made with heavy duty construction. I have not had a chance to test the battery life. Meanwhile, I bought this flashlight because it takes replaceable batteries, not rechargeable ones. The adjustable beam light is more an adequate but it does not seem as bright as it could be. However, this could be due to the 4D cell batteries that I am using were new but had been sitting around for a while. I am still shocked at the low price. A bargain in today's world. I am very satisfied with this purchase Note. My wife has the same exact Maglite 4D cell flashlight and it is at least 30 years old. Her flashlight has the Original bulb, and original switch!

Great light
I have bought many of these lights from walmart. They have the best price I can find and their service has been fast and dependable. Maglite is still the best built most dependable on the market and they are still made in the USA! An important consideration for me. BUY AMERICAN!

Good buy
Great flashlight and gives plenty of light. The twist feature for adjusting the beam is a great extra. Walmarts was the least expensive place to purchase this light and I checked many web sites.

A really great flashlight for the price.
This flashlight is a little bigger then the one i have. But Maglites are great flashlights so if this one is as good as the one i have now it should last a long time.

Maglite quality has slipped, not what I remember.
I've had Maggie's light for years and they've always been pretty good however this one seems to have a bunch of ear bubbles in the lens which you can't clean out and it also has a dark spot right in the middle of the beam due to the bulb evidently. I would not buy it again, especially at that price.
