Mainstays 1500W Ceramic Fan-Force Electric Space Heater, Black

I work from home, so I don't need a lot of heat in ALL of the house, but I want my office cozy warm. This winter has been a SUPER COLD and WINDY one , I have been able to keep my office much warmer than the rest of the house by using this little heater, and it's nearby, so I don't have to get up and down to get it warmer or turn it down. Very convenient. It is also very quiet so doesn't interfere when I'm on the phone. My beagle is enjoying its warmth, too. She's not outside long before she wants back inside and heads toward the warmth of the little heater for a few minutes. I like that the heater is small and can be easily tucked in a corner when I'm not using it. Great buy!

My heating unit died in the middle of the weekend where temps were in the teens and below. These heaters are great for bedroom sized rooms or bathrooms. I got 3 of these to take care of 2 baths and a den. wirked perfectly for the 2 days we were without heat. The price was right and these small units did the job!!

These little heaters are solid, this is the second or third one I've owned over the years and they work great to heat up my bathroom. My only complaint is that the white heater comes with a black cord, not white. It would look a lot better in my mostly white bathroom if the cord matched.

This is all in on month, First one 17.95 second one 21.95 Third one 24.95 Supply and demand? I don’t like that pricing raise in such a low amount of time for Walmart. Feel taken advantage of.

At first, it seemed like it functioned just fine for it's price. The temperature was not too low so it was at a lower setting. If you turn the fan to 2 but more often 3, it shuts off period. If you turn the heat dial above halfway it shuts off. So, if the temp is about 60 or so, it will work normally (other than what was mentioned). I don't appreciate spending my hard earned money on a product that can't even do what it is designed to do. This product actually makes me wonder if I should buy any items from walmart at how much this product has disappointed me. Called the store, they were rude and not helpful. If you live in an apartment that refuses to turn on the heat when it's cold, I suggest getting a blanket or taking legal action. Heater is not an option for COLD weather.

i bought this in November 28 th, as one of 3 I use in my RV. I've only used it for about 8 days during this time and it's already stopped working (I'm posting this on December 16th). it started smelling like burned rubber for about a minute so I turned it off, thinking it was overheated. it will not turn back on. unfortunately, I do not have a car so I cannot return it and I'm stuck with buying a new heater. I do not recommend this one at all.

This product is not safe for any thing other than offices maybe. The cord heated up and started to cause an electrical fire in an outlet and had to be turned off before it melted the plate.. this heater was only on for half an hour before the electrical burning smell started, and when I unplugged it, the cord was so hot around the prongs. It caused a blister on my finger.. very unsafe product in my opinion.

wish i could give 0 stars. i do not understand the positive reviews. the thermostat literally does the opposite of work. during the day, it turns on and runs when the room is 75 degrees. at night, the room goes down to 65 and it never turns on. absolutely worthless.

I new walmart brand was crap but tried it anyway. Big Mistake. It worked 1 day and stopped working. I unplugged for a bit and it worked again. Then a day later it stopped again. I would not recommend buying Mainstays/Walmart products. At least electronics.

This was my second time purchasing. First one I’ve had for about 2 years that still works great. This one wouldn’t even turn on but got really hot with a burning smell, no heat or air came out. Hoping to purchase again one that works.
