Mainstays 2.2 cu ft Countertop Microwave Oven, Black, New

My wife and i was in store few days prior and had our eye on it and decided to think about it. We talked about it at home and decided to that was a great price and just what we were wanting. So i went on website to order and pickup later at store. (We live like ********* away from store) and to our suprize if we order online they had it for 29.00 cheaper. Online ordering only . With free shipping. And delivery was next day. Win win

We have owned this Mainstays Model MS8436193153-01 microwave oven for a few months now. We are very impressed. It is a 1200Watt, like our old one of another brand was. But this microwave out performs our old microwave. It takes slightly less time to accomplish some cooking than our old one of the same wattage did. It is a large 2.2 Cubic foot capacity. It also does not have a handle that extends beyond the front surface like many microwaves. That style, with an extended handle, is notorious for the handle breaking where it connects to the microwave front surface, regardless of the brand. I was not aware of this until my research revealed it while shopping for this one. We were fortunate to have found this microwave on sale at the time our old one became defective. Even though it was bargain priced at Walmart, it has outperformed other brands, and has features that exceeds similar microwaves selling at higher prices. We are 100% very pleased with its performance. It is a high quality, large interior capacity 2.2 cu ft, with a large 15.5 in thick turntable microwave at a bargain price. In addition it has a full 1 Year Warranty There is one thing that would make our purchase of this microwave better. What is that? If Walmart would send us FREE of charge one of those nice Artificial Intelligence (AI) Humanoid Robots to do the cooking for us. If anyone on the Walmart Executive Leadership team reads this, please just think about all the FREE publicity and worldwide attention it would provide to Walmart.

This is a very good microwave. It isn't noisy and it has a *lot* of wattage, so popcorn pops, food heats and you can do just about anything any other "nuker" can do. It's fast cooking, and the sensor reheat option is quick. I opted for black instead of stainless because it fit with my appliances. Not sure what they meant by 'plate button', but apparently me mentioning it made the prompter happy. It's a good microwave, get it if you need it. Definitely recommended.

If you need a large microwave, then search no further. Great price, zaps food like a boss %26 everything I put in it fits. Has all the settings I want %26 am very pleased with this purchase 😁

Great unitfor the price. My only complaint, is the "lock" feature. You have to press a button EVERYtime it is used. I dont understand the purpose/point of this. I feel there should be an option to disable.

I love my new microwave. The only problem I have with it is it's hard to open the door and it might not be hard for someone that's a little younger, but as I get older, I noticed that my hands are a little weaker than they used to be and it's a little harder for me to open but everything on it works great. I love it that it's 1200 W it cooks a little faster than most of the recipes call for so I have to watch the timing on it and I reduce everything by about 30 seconds and it cooks everything just great so it's a wonderful microwave just if you're a little bit older you might have a little trouble opening the door, but it does open so it's a great microwave buy It.

The only issue I had was the delivery time was changed three times!! The final update coming in at 10:50pm noting that the item would NOT be delivered until the next morning! IF I had been updated in a timely manner, I would've picked the item up myself! This happens too frequently with Walmart delivery!

This microwave is operating like my old Panasonic when it was new. It was easy to figure out how to use. It has plenty of power. I would say we've had it for about a month . We'll see in a year if it's still up to par. So far, I am satisfied with this microwave.

Works very good so far. Only had it for a short time. Only 2 issues which are minor - difficult to see inside the microwave when cooking and the you have to push the button hard to open the door.

The door always locks, you have to push stop (even when time is up) to unlock it every single time to stir or turn your food. It's a hassle. The button to open the door is hard to push and the door slams so loud every time you shut it. It does heat food well and is spacious. If you don't have much money it's good for what you pay but if you can afford one with a handle on the door I'd recommend that instead.
