Mainstays 72'' Brown Combo Floor Lamp with Reading Light, Modern Design

My previous lamp stopped working so I needed to replace it. I'm glad I found this one at a decent price. I like the dual lights as I can choose just the smaller one for less light concentrated into a specific area or use the top one on one of three settings to light up the room. I prefer lamps versus overhead lighting so this is perfect. It was decently easy to put together; I only had an issue with one area but once the threads took hold it went together great. Yes the shades are plastic but they are cleaned easily. The lower light adjusts so that's an added plus. You can't go wrong purchasing this for the price!!

Bought two of these. Husband struggled a little putting together the first one, but then easily put together the second. Light is sufficient for a floor lamp. I like that the main light lights up the room while the small lamp is useful to focus in on a specific area like my laptop.

This is the coolest floor lamp; the top lamp (torchiere) features a 3-way bulb, and the lower (adjustable) light is plain. I have Great Value LED bulbs in both sockets. Not only does it look great sitting by my bed, but it was also super easy to assemble. I've had floor lamps in the past, but none were this sturdy.

Used as a great secondary light source to easily and economically brighten a dark, older bathroom and tub enclosure. Used strong packing tape to safely secure it stationary next to sink and wall plug. Base is also well weighted. Added LCD bulbs and a handy small, economical remote plug switch hung on keychain /push pin for convenience. Couldn't be any happier.

So if you got this lamp in 2010-2016 this lamp had a metal case to go over the weight at the bottom of the lamp now that is plastic and the little reading lamp used to be about 5 inches longer but hey if you need a lower cost lamp this is it. But not totally the same as the ones they use to sell back when

The lamp is stylish and will complement contemporary interior design. The main light and adjustable reading lamp are great for having in the living room or bedroom. It was easy to assemble, and the lamp is stable after being set up. The lighting is bright, and the reading light is particularly convenient if I want a focused light but don't want the main light to come on. I'm giving it 4 stars and not 5 because the overall quality of the build could be improved. Other than that, it's a great value for the price, and I'm happy with the purchase.

It's OK. It works. Easy to put together. Very flimsy and very cheaply made however. The only metal part of the entire lamp is the center pole. Everything else is plastic even the shades. I am using only a 60 watt on top and a 25 watt on the reading lamp. I would be afraid of using a 100 watt bulb, as it claims it can use, for fear that it would melt the shades. The base is well weighted, but I would worry that this lamp would get tipped over very easily in a house with children or pets.

Cheaply made. If you buy it make sure you buy tape too it's that flimsy. When you assemble it together you just screw the pieces on together. The middle part of the one I purchased was stripped so bad that it wouldn't screw right which caused the lamp to look crooked and it can't hold its self up. Not worth the money. Just do yourself a favor and spend more money on a decent quality lamp. And Walmart, instead of putting it on rollback, still selling it and making it cheaper just take it off of the market. That lamp needs tj be thicker and better screw on engravings. Poor quality.

The thread on the bottom piece of the lamp where it screws in the base stripped immeadiately. We didn’t even use a lot of force when assembling. We tried to make it better with plumbers tape. The pole leans and it looks like a joke in our house. We got led remote operated lights and they provide adequate brightness, but it a result of the bulbs, not the lamp. If I didn’t live far enough out of town, I would’ve returned it. I suppose it’s my fault for not reading any reviews ahead of time. Instead of buying a new lamp, we’re going to use some decorative vases to help hide that we need to support the lamp to get it to stand up straight.

THIS LAMP IS NOT WORTH $1.00. ITS A WASTE AND SINCE I DID NOT EXPECT IT TO BE THIS BAD I TOSSED THE PACKAGEING, SO NO MONEY BACK!! PURCHASED ANOTHER, BUT SAME PROBLEM. THEY MUST SEND ALL SHADES THE SAME SO THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO FIT EACH LAMP THEY SELL AS SAME SCREW MECHANISM, SAME SHADE, SAME PROBLEM. SHADES DO NOT STAY ON AS THEY SHOULD ON EITHER LAMP. FLIMSY POLE SHADES DO NOT FIT PROPERLY ON EITHER LAMP PURCHASED! SAME COMPANY, SAME EXACT PROBLEMS. WASTED $$$$$$$$.
