Mainstays Citronella-Scented Torch Fuel for Outdoor Torch, 50fl oz

I am part of the Walmart Spark Review program where they send me an item in exchange for a honest review. This stuff works great. It doesn't smell bad like most citronella products do. It stays lit for hours with no issues. It also keeps the bugs away, which I love!!

This Mainstays Citronella Scented Torch fuel works great. I think that it performed better than the big brand name fuel that we having been buying but costs a fraction of the price. The scent of Citronella is nice and not so overpowering or offensive that it bothers us while we are near the torches. We used this fuel in several torches along with a few citronella candles in the areas where we were enjoying our time outdoors and we were relatively bite free from mosquitoes all night. The glow from the torches and the pleasant scent of the citronella helps make me feel more relaxed and able to enjoy the night. The fuel burned clean and didn't put off any black smoke as it was burning. The features that I like best about the bottle's design are the molded bottle area that grips to fit my hand for a steadier pour and the EZ fill spout for less spills or messy refilling of the torches. This bottle is 100 fluid ounces so I got a considerable amount of fuel for the price which is a great value to me. I was able to fill 4 wide mouth torches and still have half of the bottle of fuel left. We were outside for around three hours and our torches still have lots of fuel left inside of them. The instructions for filling and storing the fuel was very detailed. It was very helpful to have that information especially for the safety of those who may be new to using this type of fuel. I am replacing the brand of torch fuel I have previously been buying with this Mainstays Brand Citronella Scented Torch fuel.

Torch Fuel is one of those items you can't try out and smell before you burn it, so you rely on what reviewers say. I can tell you this smells amazing! In addition to the pleasant smell of the citronella, it also did not produce any back smoke, like some other brands do. The other great thing I really like with this brand was the large 50 oz size, which is great if you have several outside touches around the backyard. This brand Mainstays, also did a great job on the design of the pouring spout! Every other brand I have tried in the past has a regular large opening on top of the bottle, and makes it messy when adding the fuel to the touch- but not this brand! Super easy to pour!. I love this product and I wont be changing- too many great things.

I received this citronella torch fuel for outdoor fuel torches. It works great! Lit right up, stays lit even in wind, and has a nice citronella scent. It kept the bugs away and gives a pretty atmosphere to your patio area. I like it and would recommend it.

This product is very flammable, so taking proper precautions when using it and storing it is important to do. There is a booklet warning the buyer about this. We are storing the bottle covered with a plastic bag in the garage away from electric or gas items. The spout on the bottle is perfect for pouring into a torch container. It was easy to light and produced a nice flame, see picture. It did a good job of keeping the bugs away. The container of oil was big enough to fill the torch at least twice.

This is something we use a lot of. We live in Georgia so it's warm here right much during the year which means lots of bugs most of the year. This stuff is great! It definitely keeps the bugs away and we get to enjoy all of the torches and stuff we have around our property. Highly recommend if you plan to be outdoors this summer!

This torch fuel is so good, I really didn't know what i was missing. I purchased a torch for my backyard patio, i call it my oasis , and it's just what i needed to complete my space. The smell is excellent and it actually repels mosquitoes. I get such a calming affect each time i light it, and it does wonders for my mental well being, 100% recommended by me.

I received Mainstays Citronella Scented Torch Fuel through the Spark Reviewer program. This review is my honest opinion of the product. I had been using another more expensive fuel for years. This works just as good. Great price for a huge bottle. I have one large Torch and many old beautiful oil lamps. The oil lamps range from 6 to 14 inches tall. I filled my Torch and several oil lamps with the fuel. I use the oil lamps in my larger greenhouse. This fuel burns for a long time. I love the scent of Citronella. This is strong enough to keep the mosquitoes out of the greenhouse. There are two long open areas halfway, lengthwise running along the top walls on each side for circulation. This is where the mosquitoes get in. The scent rises and keeps them out. I have the Torch by my backdoor. This fuel in my Torch is keeping the mosquitoes away from my backdoor. We already have plenty of mosquitoes flying around in the Texas Hill Country. Mainstays Citronella Scented Torch Fuel is working great to keep them away.

We have beautiful weather almost all year long, so my family spends many hours each day outside. Day and night we love to play games in the pool, sit around the patio and have a delicious barbecue. The only downside is the mosquitoes flying around biting my children. It kinda ruins the mood. That is why I love this Mainstays Citronella-Scented torch fuel. When lit, it keeps the bugs away. I love the tiki torches at night, especially around the patio dinner table. The fuels bottle has some great details, especially the molded places on the bottle where I hold and pour. It fits my hand, so I have confidence when pouring the fuel. It's so easy holding, and pouring the fuel from bottle to torch. The cap is childproof, which is great when you have young toddlers who love to explore. It lights up quickly and gives the yard such a beautiful glow. I feel like I'm somewhere very tropical, I really love the ambiance, and we are all bite-free!

This is great mosquito repellant. I live in the country and we have creeks and swamps, and alot of mosquitoes. I use this fluid because it is affordable and it works. I do however have to use a alot because I use 4 tiki torches. The only thing that could be better with this fluid is for it to burn longer.
