Gym was well packaged. The instructions are lacking and missing details. In a few areas not explained at all. We had to go to YouTube for answers. As stated it takes about 4 hours to assemble, so be prepared, NOT an easy task.
Took one person about 3hrs to unpack, gather the tools (battery powered ratchet) needed and put together with a 30 minute break. Directions (pictures) were excellent. Only had to reverse myself once.
I am liking this home stack gym. The assembly was a good workout to me - I started around 6 am and it was completely done around 9 pm with some generous breaks of course ( I wasn't trying to beat anyone's record at assembly :) ). There were 3 steps that could have been marked better in the instructions (the arrangement of the last weight stack, the direction of the foot of the back post in step 2 and the direction of the butterfly arms). These are the steps that I had to rework and get them right the 2nd time around. However, this is a 1 time thing I was going to do so I was glad it was done over a long weekend. Since then I have used it for workouts and by adjusting my body position I use it for stretching different muscle areas. It is smooth and I am liking my purchase a lot.
I love the gym - the directions are ridiculous- just pictures. You have to be very careful and make sure everything is the right direction but it went together in about 5 1/2 hours - yes it took that long by myself. I'm enjoying the workouts - especially for the price.
This machine is exactly what I needed. It did take me a while to put it together, but it was worth it. I've only had it operational for 2 weeks, but I'm really enjoying it. The only thing I cannot do is Reverse Flies...FYI, I did try it anyway, it didn't work. I recommend this for anyone looking to add to, or start their home gym.
The product shipped in three boxes, 2 for the weights and one for the mainframe. The item is well made and sturdy. The assembly instructions are very clear and the many pieces are well-marked and identified. I was able to assemble it in about 3 hours. (TIP: USE A RATHET WRENCH FOR ASSEMBLY RATHER THAN AN ADJUSTABLE WRENCH). After your first use , you may need to adjust the pulley system due to the cables being stressed. You can do a while range of exercises. The only downside I could possibly see is that the seat is not adjustable, but it pretty much suits my 5' 9" frame. There has been no issues after 3 weeks of use.
This home gym is definitely worth the money!!! Good quality has a lot to offer. Only issue I had was with the home assembly I purchased along with the home gym, paid 188$ extra to have in home assembly, the appts got canceled and rescheduled multiple times only within 20 mins or appt times took off each time to be home... I waited almost 2 weeks and was told that someone would arrive for my final appt. Once again 20 mins prior to appt it got canceled yet again. And not only canceled to be rescheduled but completely canceled. Then the company wanted to charge me over 300$ for same assembly appt. My advice don't even waste time paying for this additional service Assembly was fairly simple with the help of YouTube .
Overall we are happy with this home gym and it works well for what we were looking for. A few things I am not happy about is we opted for the 1005 model mainly for the larger seat pads and for its appearance. All of the hardware we received is silver when in every single picture it shows black. Functionally it makes no difference but appearance wise the black hardware gives it a nicer fit and finish and also the silver makes it look cheaper. Some other "advertising inconsistencies" are the fly and bench press handles are black when in all of the photos they are gray, pull down bar is also a different color than shown in stock photos... it almost feels like they just threw whatever they had available in the boxes and shipped them.
Good home gym for the money considering we were no longer going to our gym because of Covid. Paid someone to put it together, came in large heavy box with a zillion parts.
Poorly made, do not buy this machine if you're looking for something that works well, the weight on the back does not allow you to use the front unless you're sitting on it. The seat is hard on the machine when you use it is not stable. If you're over 5'9” you cannot sit and do a chest press on this machine the arms are it's too close to you.
